I beg to differ sir.....Ronnie was never a one-hit-wonder he was just in a class by himself....whether it was his original material or a cover he did it justice.....love him to pieces I love all his songs but recently I started to fall in love all over again with " A Wednesday in your garden"

Ronnie Dyson is still listen to now in 2023. We will continue enjoy his music for ever how long. Thank you
  • Ronnie Dyson had a voice like no other. Just like Luther Vandross, he can go high or low because he can make his voice expand, which can be extremely hard if you are a singer. Our family back in the day had just one album by this spectacular singer. I have a friend, who knew Ronnie Dyson personally, because of the church they went to in the sixties. He said, "Maurice, when this guy was done singing, he had damn near everyone in that church crying!" And I believe him. A legendary singer in his own right. The songs Ronnie Dyson sung that stuck out to me are "Even In The Darkest Night", "Familiar Strangers" & "Waiting For You." God Bless him, we lost him way too soon.

If You Let Me Make Love To You Then Why Can't I Touch You was sung beautifully by him. This song was a smash.

Ronnie Dyson cannot be referred to as a one hit wonder. His body of work and repertoire is too wide. There is no modern day artiste that has a voice like his. In fact, his voice is one of the most beautiful to grace the earth. "I think I'll tell her".
  • @wilcoxpromise
Ronnie Dyson is no one-hit-wonder. He had a catalogue and "Give In To Love" is my favourite. He deserves respect.

Thanks so much for covering this untold story of Ronnie Dyson. "One Man Band Plays All Alone" still is my favorite. RIP to Thom Bell, who was also a genius. But as I listen to his many other Dyson songs, I truly appreciate his body of work. I will go back and listen to more of his magnificent voice. What a truly underrated talent.
  • " I think I'll tell her " Is one of my favorite Ronnie Dyson songs. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and his many fans, of which i am one. May he continue to RiP. Thanks for sharing.

  • When it comes right down to it is an all time great oldie but goody that takes me back down memory lane. I would say that is his best song. He really should have gotten much more recognition during his life time.
