Tread FULL MOVIE - The True Story of the KILLDOZER

Published 2022-05-12
On June 4th, 2004, a sixty-three-ton bulldozer, fortified with steel and concrete, systematically destroyed numerous businesses and homes in the small mountain town of Granby, Colorado. The rampage lasted over two hours and resulted in more than eight million dollars in damage. State and local police were incapable of even slowing the machine. Though it was armed with three high-powered firearms, no one but the driver was killed. His name was Marvin Heemeyer. TREAD explores the polarizing perspectives on this man, his motives, and what drove him to the breaking point.

For God's sake if you have a friend who becomes distant or secluded, Check On Them! They may need help lifting and welding...

Marvin DID NOT buy the dozer and let it sit there with the for sale sign for "intimidation" reasons. They make it seem like he would have no other reason for having bought it. The reason he bought the dozer was because when they spot zoned and put the plant up next to him, it cut off a vital road that was frequently used by both his customers, and him; that road was essential to his work and business. This is why spot zoning was illegal, because you can't just buy the land around somebody and build a wall around them blocking them. So of course, the reason for Marvin buying the dozer, was because he begged the city and zoning commission to build an alternate road for his business, and they denied it, and he went and bought a bulldozer, and concrete, and a bunch of other things, and begged them saying he was willing to make the road at his own expense, and do all the work, they still denied him. THAT is when he put it up for sale since he had no use for it, but no one bought it. They make it seem like he purposefully bought this to make a tank and kill people, which was NOT the case. The amount of times these people lie through their teeth is infuriating and disgusting.

I love how this video was recommended after watching Cody's video (Whistlin Diesel)

The older I get the more I understand this man RIP Marvin you didn’t deserve to go this way
  • @iCRASHgetOUT
I like how they all said they never said or did anything bad to him yet when the rampage started they all knew exactly what his targets were. You knew wtf you did and why he was doing it.
  • I’m a tracked vehicle mechanic in the army and one of our vehicles here it’s an M88A2. It’s basically a bulldozer for towing tanks. We named it KILLDOZER in Marvin’s honor.

Love how they act like he was completely unreasonable, yet destroyed the dozer immediately because they knew it would be a symbol to others. they knew what they did
  • @nureallycool
LOVE the fact that he gave the $400,000 to his father who in turn gave it to his other children so that the town couldn't get reimbursed. Serves them right!
  • @JohnClutch1
Wow. For a bunch of people who didn't do anything to Marv, they sure AF knew what building he was heading to next, huh?
  • @ooppay
think god those 3 troopers were nimble enough to escape a 3 mph dozer
  • @jeffreymissal
What is conveniently left out is that this is a movie produced by some of the very same people who Marvin believed wronged him.
  • @TheRealSarcasmO
The fact everyone knew who was in the Bulldozer makes it clear that they knew they all wronged him with malice.
  • @JDPyrotechnics
Just the fact that everyone knew immediately the places he would be going tells you a lot.
  • @highmarkrich
I'm here after the WhistlinDiesel video of him getting the Komatsu
  • @Sauspreme
I have a much easier time believing the same coordinated group of people that wronged Marvin, are capable of crafting a story that makes them look innocent in order to clear their name, than I am believing a man that was never intentionally wronged or unfairly targeted is capable of spending years planning, crafting and carrying out the vengeance that Marvin did.

Once you've taken every thing from a man, he has nothing left to lose.
  • @tomc.4860
It's amazing that no one wants to admit that they were colluding to destroy this man's business and his entire livelihood. He spent hundreds of thousands of dollars just trying to keep his business and it was clear that they were trying to destroy him.
  • @wrathman-101
It's amazing how the corrupt town made this Documentary, and you can still tell that they are the ones that did that man wrong. They should all be held accountable for his life and all the damage he caused!
  • I watched this documentary when it first came out and it made me so mad that they spun the story against Marv. It being posted somewhere that allows the comments section to set the record straight and point out the truth to the unenlightened is the greatest possible outcome. RIP Marv. Thank you for inspiring so many people.
