This movie will pull you right into the story, the feelings of fear, loss, victory, and love, They are all there. Don't critique any of the inaccuracies, allow for the difficulty in putting all of this together. Just put yourself in what and how these brave men did back in the early years of aviation. I rate this one among the top list of historical movies! Thank you for bringing us this movie.

Jennifer Decker was outstanding and made the film so compelling representing the innocent French people and their suffering yet their beauty
  • A real movie with real people doing what they can. No special "powers" or anything but their honor, courage, and intelligence. BRAVO!
  • @77.88.
I still like the old planes as I was able to fly a few back in the late 1970's in Northern California I lost track of my friend and instructor Capitan William Bill Weston we both lived in the Gridely, California I have missed him all these years, he flew F100's in Vietnam, we owned a 1946 Cesna 120, she was old ,but true... God Bless You Bill where ever you are?

The magnificence of these men in this misbegotten war speaks for itself.

What an underrated true tale this is based on. Glad I got the DVD to watch several times each year. 👍👍 5⭐
  • Jean Reno brought a huge smile to me when he appeared in the scene at the airfield. Just knew he had to be in the cast somewhere 😅👏
  • Seen bits and pieces of this movie here on YouTube, but this is the first time I was able to see the whole thing from start to finish. Loved this movie, wish my dad could have seen this as well while sitting next to him, but I'm sure he was enjoying it with me from up above. Miss you dad, USAF, rest in heaven 2014.

This is such a special movie! I come from a long line of family that were historical aviation pilots. One who is very famous bears my last name. This movie touched my heart deeply.

SPOILER ALERT, DIVERT YOUR EYES The fact Rawlings never ends up finding Lucienne in Paris has me pretty choked up. Imagine going through life after that without one another, eternally waiting for the day you see their face again, only to pass alone & broken. 😢
  • Jean Reno is one of my favorite actors. He always seems to inject a small bit of subtle humor regardless of the character he plays.

Can you say classic.... Wow salute to those who went before us..........

Flyboys and The Red Baron are the greatest movies about aviation in WW1.
  • @pageremick5504

I really enjoyed this movie and all the emotions that I felt. Yet I bursted out with laughter when he said "Fear the Hook". I was hoping that he found her in Paris and brought her home to Texas.
  • This movie depicts the creation of aireal combat,,it also speaks of the tragic emotional roller coaster every combat pilot goes through,,i being a veteran am deeply touched by this movie,,and to all my airmen buddies we will always be FLY BOYS FOREVER!!!

It is the best movie made about the American volunteer pilots of WW1. I own it, and have watched it dozens of times. Many friends died in the War, but the ones who survived went on to have successful lives. The scene where their airplanes appear out of fog still sends chills down my spine today.
