14:00 Sound of Death. I would actually get this as a kid on our unmodded wii, sound and all. In my experience, it's essentially the equivalent of your wii freezing, although holding down the power button until it turns off, and then turning it back on, usually fixed the issue. However, I had this issue in one specific wii game (Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey) on loading screens. If your wii is doing this on the main menu, there probably is something much worse going on with your wii than a simple overload.

Wii error screens are one of the scariest things that can jumpscare you. You are happily playing a game and suddenly all the music goes away, the color fades, and there is a black screen with a message. It feels like the message is watching you. Maybe that could be an element of a horror game. It would be funny to get jumpscared by an error screen in the middle of gameplay

There's another reason why the sound of death occurs. It often occurs in certain games when you perform a game crashing glitch that causes the necessary components to shutdown.

For the wii sound of death, I think just makes that sound when it crashes and then tries to turn off the system but, the part that makes sound doesn’t turn off therefore, it starts making a buzzing sound.

Imo, “the Wii system memory has been damaged” is WAY scarier than “the Wii system memory has been corrupted”. Idek why, I think the word “damage” just scares me 😭

6:03 This isn't too rare actually, depending on the game and the condition of your Wii. Any dual layered disc like Brawl can become unplayable based on the game and Wii's condition

I'm going to clarify some of this errors: The system files are corrupted and banner brick: the corrupted files error can also appear in a banner brick right after pressing A on the warning screen Error 002: this error can appear sometimes if your wii's ios(part of the software) is too outdated when you try to play some games, mostly happens on modified wiis Error 003: this error can appear if you change the region of your console to korea or viceversa since the korean version is the only with a different software unlike the other regional versions

I had number 10 happen, but it was with a hard system lock up while playing a game, scared the absolute crap out of me. Years later and that Wii is still working and I haven’t encountered that error

4:51 My Mario Kart Wii disc does that a lot, same with my Mario Super Sluggers disc whenever certain events happen. That's more of a uncommon error. 12:26 I got that with my first Wii because I was too impatient to wait for a system update to install so I turned it off during the part where you're not allowed to turn it off. At the time I was 12 and it happened around the summer of 2011. I had to replace it because that's a brick and I didn't hack that Wii. My current Wii (which I got on Christmas 2011) is modified and still works because that experience taught me a big lesson.

6:46 I’m surprised that this is a rare error screen since I got it when playing a copy of DKC Returns. It was very scratched when I got it, but worked until I got to the Forest world and started the second level. From there I never could open any levels without that screen popping up so I had to get the disc resurfaced
