The Wii was my first Nintendo console, although for some reason I got it right before the Wii U released..., instead of just that 😭(It wasn't backwards compatible either, since I got the Family Edition)

I still have my launch edition Wii with the stand. I never noticed the Logo was changed in later models to be horizontal! I love the GameCube emulation & controller ports. It's kind of weird that the adult games are on the GameCube mostly.

Actually, the Wii disc drive (well, the GameCube compatible ones, anyway) can actually read and play DVD videos, but Nintendo didn't feel like paying DVD FLLC royalties for the logo on the box of every Wii.

I had a gyration Mouse when I was in college. Around 2001. It's insane not knowing I was buying something partly owned by nintendo. It was a cool house, you could pick it up in the mouse turned into a pointer. Brilliant idea, surprised they never caught on... On PCs
