Could make a whole series on the stuff sanji has made throughout the show

Considering how quickly sanji whipped this up for Gin, it makes sense that he would have used leftover stuff from other dishes. How great to find that the act of using leftovers made it taste better! Major props to Alvin for always going the extra mile for both show and culinary accuracy

ALL the appreciation for recognizing Sanji's thriftiness and ingenuity in making incredible food out of whatever he has to hand. My own kitchen is run by his methods, and my husband is constantly amazed at how many things I can make out of recycling bits of leftovers and a few staples. We don't even keep that much food on hand--our refrigerator is usually half empty and have a small pantry with a 25lb bag of rice, a few boxes of pastas, flour, sugar and some canned veggies. But I have before been able to make it a month before NEEDING to go to the grocery store...which came in really handing during lockdown.

I'd love to see you do Sanji's Cuisine A La Carte, not only would it be an interesting challenge but Sanji himself describes everything to do when making it, and it'd be interesting to see how true to life it is

There’s a whole bunch of foods from one piece, I really hope you make more!

I NEED to try this, ever since childhood that risotto looked BOMB AF

One of my favorite parts of this series is watching Alvin get more comfortable in front of the camera and behind the mic, his commentary is a lot more confident now.
  • a fun little trick for you Alvin, if you ever want to use it. Since onions have a chemical (known as syn-propanediol-S-oxide) fume that makes you tear up, it's because the chemical is trying to find moisture as it escapes the onion. If you want to avoid putting plastic wrap or anything to cover your eyes when you cut onions next time just put a decent-sized bowl of water nearby and let it sit there as you chop onions, that way it can attract the onion chemical to go there instead of your eyes since there is more moisture in that bowl instead of your eyes.

Now to make food for Nami and Robin so we can see hearts pop out of your eyes.
  • Man, Alvin could just make one piece foods and never run out of content
  • Wonder if they will ever do that episode where sanji made the best dish out of left over fish Caracas and Vegetable scraps😂

Can we all agree that food in One Piece looks heavenly?
  • I love Sanji's personal motto though. That nobody shall go hungry if he can help it. Nor any food go to waste either.
  • That risotto was the first anime food in my childhood that made my drool. Not to mention, around the same time, Sanji became my first anime crush. It's insane to watch this food from such a memorable scene come together in real life in my adulthood.

Didn't know we could get much higher with this one piece of media depicting delicious recipes.

Now we need Sanji's leftover gourmet from when he made all that food from the scraps of the chefs.
