Grizzly Bear Kills Moose During Wedding - The Wedding Videographer's Take

You may have already seen the video, but here is my take on what happened that day in August of 2022. An absolutely surreal and once in a lifetime experience! Apologies for the shaky footage, I zoomed in on my footage and the bear was already pretty far away.

It’s moments like these that make you realise nature doesn’t give a shit about your wedding

"Let's have our wedding in the quiet peace and gentle beauty of nature." The quiet peace and gentle beauty of nature:
  • You never want to get eaten by a bear. The fact that it didn't kill it even by the end of the video... sheesh. That's probably the most painful and violent way to die
  • @AnyWhoAlly
For a professional videographer this is the most UNSTEADY while still focused video lmao
  • We just witnessed one life ending....but enough about the groom, did you see the bear and moose 😳

👰: I want a moment to remember, a wedding that no one forgets. A day everyone remembers. 🐻: 🤝Say no more.
  • Those sounds in the background while the groom is reading is comedy gold
  • @Gnorkadork
People: I want a wedding we will always remember! Nature: I can help with that.
  • “aw what a beautiful wedding” TERRIBLE SOUNDS OF A DYING MOOSE
  • Maid of honor fixes the bride's train during the bear mauling... very thoughtful.
  • “Speak now or forever hold your peace” definitely holds a new meaning now 😂

Knowing how massive moose are and the fact one grizzly can take one down is pretty insane!

Ah yes, the sacrifice part at a wedding. Lovely.
  • The grizzly bear represents the bride's new divorce lawyer and the moose represents the groom and everything hes ever worked for !

Something getting killed on your wedding day is seriously a bad omen.
  • There’s people out there that think they can take a grizzly bear 😂😂

As a rock climber living in Colorado, I had the opportunity to go climbing in Glacier Park, so of course, I said yes. We were on Going-To-The-Sun mountain about 4 or 5 pitches up this pretty tough route. When right below us, we hear at first what we thought was a person yelling, then we hear the unmistakable growls and roar of a Grizzly and realize after looking down this bear had chased a moose straight to the base of the rock face we were on, and they had a pretty lengthy battle until they bear won and just started eating there. I've never had more motivation to complete a climb before in my life. And the hike out was the most terrifying 3 miles I've ever walked hahaha
  • Imagine if this guy could hold a camera steady, good lord.
  • One thing you can count on is, a bear is NOT going to stop being a bear JUST because there's a scenic wedding going on in the bear's vicinity!
