I hope you’re ready to swim with one of the most famous SHARKS in America.

You probably know BARBARA CORCORAN best from hanging out on SHARK TANK with the likes of Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, and others for the past 11 seasons. This week, you’re going to learn about what it takes to run with those powerhouses as an EQUAL on television and in the real world.

Barbara’s journey is packed full of lessons you need to hear and that you can use in your own life.

She came from very modest beginnings and was a poor student who battled dyslexia and failed at 20 jobs before she was 23. But after borrowing $1,000 from a boyfriend, Barbara eventually formed the Corcoran Group, and in time, turned it into a $5 BILLION REAL ESTATE BUSINESS.

You’ll love the story of how Barbara tapped into her ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPERPOWERS to become one of the WEALTHIEST and most INFLUENTIAL businesswomen in the world today.

Her rags-to-riches story is beyond INSPIRING. More than that, it’s a BLUEPRINT you can learn from when you tap into a FREEDOM MINDSET, GRIT, AND DETERMINATION to create your best life, even in the most difficult circumstances.

As you’ll hear, it’s no surprise that many women look to Barbara as a ROLE MODEL to overcome challenges they face in the business world. She offers specific advice to women, but there are also UNIVERSAL LESSONS anyone can take from her experiences and wisdom.

Barbara shares the MUST-HAVE TRAITS any entrepreneur should have (starting with COMPETITIVENESS and RESILIENCE), how she EVALUATES Shark Tank opportunities, and why SELF-AWARENESS is critical when you work for yourself.

Barbara wraps up our interview with an interesting and SURPRISING insight into how WEALTH DOES AND DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

She is an endless bundle of ENERGY and mixes that with HUMILITY and a NO-NONSENSE approach in her work, making Barbara Corcoran one of the most uniquely ENDEARING people I’ve had on my show.

6 months of hard work and focus can put you 3 years ahead in life. Don't underestimate the power of focus and consistency... ⏳

I wasn’t aware of her humble beginnings. She is right, it makes a difference knowing of someone has walked in to shoes. I couldn’t watch shark tank without her on it, that’s for sure. Great interview Ed.

Barbara Corcoran is such a stunning example of a normal human being who pushes beyond average while dealing with all the inherent flaws as well. When I was working at Valuetainment, I presented the case several times with PBD to ask her to be a guest at the Vault Conference because she is, at her core, an entrepreneur and guiding light!

Barbara is probably my favorite shark on TV. Today I learned why, she is a working class badass from rags to riches. Being a product of a single parent home (single mom), I connect with her authenticity and her humility along with her business savvy. Great interview Ed!

Be in charge of your destiny. You’ll never know what you’re capable of until you take charge. You have to learn to always get back up and fight for what you know you deserve. Absolutely loved this interview! Thank you Ed

Haha that email was a baller move!!! 💗 The humor then the delivery, "I'm much more accustomed to coming in first!" Total shark or more like tigress 🐅!
  • @LalaNaidu
Barbara is a hoot! I so appreciate her authenticity. She was so real & honest about how she judges others quickly and about how she is still acting out conditioning from the past. What an inspiring woman! Thank you for yet another great interview Ed. I appreciate how much energy and resources you put into these interviews and so graciously share with the world. Bless your heart ~

Get the habit of getting up! This is what I always teach my students.

THIS IS A GOLD MINE!! Failure can be the best teacher. Also believing in and empowering others reaps great dividends!

What an insightful and genuine conversation. Between the two of you there is so much to take away. I think what made this so great is it felt like talking with the two of you rather than being talked to by the two of you. It makes it a lot easier to relate to, and what a wonderful blend of personalities
  • I love that you always have meaningful conversations with your guests. Always something good to take away.
  • I never make it through a whole interview on YouTube, but I did on this one. Great interview! Her energy is amazing and so is her wisdom. LOVED IT!
  • Love her story...wow I didn't know she had a learning disability and still overcame the naysayers. ..I've done the same push through those that called me stupid...now who is winning! Now they want to work for me. So funny how things turn around.
  • This story is remarkable! We all need to read her letter and learn! Thank you Ed for this interview! So good! Perfect timing to listen to this after GoPro, an event dedicated to entrepreneurs where your story touched me.
  • @marianne8766
Wow, Barbara’s honesty was amazing. It is really hard to be that honest about your own prejudices and so self aware, incredibly refreshing.
  • Coming up poor and in a single family household with a mom who worked three jobs and hardly was around is something I'm still working on overcoming. To be poor and have that foundation of love, I'm sure, makes a mountain of a difference. Respect
  • Great interview. Inciteful lessons for life. Am reminded of that song: Pick yourself up, dust yourself off. Start all over again. Reslience...be a weed in the garden of business! So enjoying your interviews Ed whilst on the move.
  • Wow! What an incredible woman! Thank you Ed Mylett for sharing this with us. I love listening to your podcasts. I share them with my team and sister Sales Directors.
