Dutch’s voice actor is the master of voice cracks
-
“What?!” ”im just kidding” John is such a great character
-
“Oh I don’t know, sport I guess?” This line really shows you how far Dutch truly falls after rdr2
-
I’d rather see this remastered than the gta trilogy
-
The magic of RDR2 was taking a vague character like Dutch and turning him into exactly what John describes him as: "a fine speaker, great leader, a deep thinker" and then he falls and becomes this
-
I love how John is a lot stronger mentally than he was in rdr2; he just jokes as soon as he’s threatened, and knows not to believe or even entertain Dutch’s ideas anymore. Hes really fun to watch and shows me why Rdr was so popular when it came out
-
Dutch's writing and voice actor are just 11/10 honestly.
-
They got Dutch perfectly in RDR2 considering the few scenes of him in the first game
-
“Imma watch him tear you limb from limb” “What?!” “Just kiddin” Lmao still one of best cutscenes
-
John: "That's beautiful, Dutch. You always were a fine speaker." Dutch: "I was."
-
I like how John can still have a sense of humor even when his life is threatened.
-
Bandit: "One more move..." John: * full-on fucking dead sprint at the dude before aiming his gun *

It’s cool how John and Arthur have outwardly the same personality but are completely different humans. John is “glass half full” while Arthur is “glass half empty” but they’re both “why you got me lookin at a damn half poured glass” When the professor hugs John and cries and displays a plethora of emotions that would get your ass kicked in that day, John doesn’t say anything. Even if he’s annoyed at first, you can see in his characters animation that he appreciates the professor for who he is. It almost looks like John’s thinking about how nice that life would be for someone that gets to go back to Yale. He’s uncomfortable, but warmed by the idea of having a tribe that he admires and respect and has that same feeling given back.

Dutch went from all stylish and dapper to running around in his long johns in just a few short years. What a fall from grace.
-
" That's beautiful Dutch. You always were a fine speaker! " " I was. " I love that exchange. How self aware Dutch is of his own downfall, that he's at his breaking point. All bets are off.

Playing through the first RDR game after RDR2 is kind of heartbreaking in a way
-
John is such an OG. Ready to take on a whole gang and his adopted dad all on his own. Now that’s gangsta……
-
Anyone else feel like John handles this situation exactly like Dutch himself would have done in RDR2?
-
John being surrounded by his old father figure and his new crazy gang, and still making a joke about the professor is priceless

The animations are incredible for a 2010s game. If only it was given a bit of touch up in terms of better graphics. Would be an eye candy and a joy to play on ps4.
