Comparing the two products from DipyourCar to see how the new Shadow Black Hyperdip compares to good old Plasti Dip black. Both dips give great results but the new Hypderdip takes the W with smoother finish, deeper shade of black, feels soft to the touch, less brake dust attracted and easier to clean.

My rims came out MUCH better when I prepped the can by setting it in warm water for about 20 minutes. Made a world of difference. Also,.....you'll get better results if you do more light passes...instead of a few heavy passes...if that makes sense

You're wife is a sweetheart doing that plaque for you! Congrats on 10k! Count me as now one more!

Just recently stumbled upon plasti dip & it blows my mind lol! After watching a couple of videos on this it seems the possibilities of it are almost endless & if you mess up you just peel it off! First video I’ve found from you but congrats on 10k! Great video!!

Really love your 10k placque. IMO thats more valuable than a 1m one! Very thoughtful.

    Another great comparison video !
  • I used HyperDip on my truck emblems, and the leftover on an old van grill two years ago. It's STILL on there looking good. I even tried to remove it from my grill emblem once, and it didn't want to come off. (Which could be good or bad.)

Congrats on 10k subs! Good video. I'm surprised you only do 6 coats though. I usually do 10 for peelability.

You got a thumbs up within the first minutes of the video before I had seen the products, simply because of your awesome attitude. Just wanted to say that it's so nice to see humble, grateful people in the world and there should be more like you. Subbed.

Thanks for this amazing upload! Even though I'm a female that enjoys modding my own car with my own dipping skills, this helps me further in honing my own diy skills of dipping! 😎

Great video, thx for sharing. Congrats on breaking 10k, not easy to do.
  • Great video. I think I’ll stick with Plastidip due to it being more forgiving to apply. I’ll add some clear and be good to go. Thx man.

Great video. Mase me change my mind about using either of those 2 rather than regular spray paint. 👍👍
  • Great video. Very helpful. Did you apply anything on the tires first, like dip release, to help peel off the spray?
