Is this what we call 4wding??? I DON’T!

Let’s see what we can learn from this rather poor performance of 4wding. There is a time and place for this type of driving and it’s on private property where the land owner is happy for it to happen.

Every time one of your local tracks gets closed, you can thank clowns like these blokes.
  • @marshinn
Pretty reckless. I feel that this sort of behaviour will get us all locked out
  • @paulvictor9368
You are very polite in your commentary. You are a better man than I am. The littering and everything else shows me they have no regard for others and I will leave my thought at that.
  • @Theoffroader80
And this is exactly why we keep getting locked out of places.
  • What amazes me is the growing trend on YouTube, that seatbelts are not needed once you leave the bitumen. You don't have to look far to see examples of this. They connect the buckles and sit on top, so the alarm doesn't work. This Video is a classic example of why tracks are being closed for good.
  • @arthurstock4386
I've finally got myself a 4wd but now there's nowhere for me to go and enjoy it. These idiots are the reason for that
  • @4x4days
Well broken down and worded Matt. These things need to be said and people need to learn before there is nowhere left to off road. I'm sure guys like this will be the first to complain when tracks are closed. Keep doing what you are doing Matt, great content.
  • @BorisEkner
It’s not 4WDriving - it’s 4WCrashing. Some people are impressed by it, but the ones who have passed the pimple years of puberty are not.
  • Clearly the guy’s got the result they were after & would have kept going until the vehicle was trashed! It’s a shame, those Gq’s are great for the young guys to learn in & affordable & tougher than a bulls backside. I really hope they cleaned the entire track, so there wasn’t a trace of this rollover ever happening or of a drink out in the bush. If not GO BACK & CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!!! Thanks Mad Matt 👍

I was starting to be like what’s he doing wrong besides rolling but when you said do it on private property that made so much sense. If you wanna act a fool don’t be in areas that can be shut down cause someone acting a fool. All the glass, oil, and the crap that falls out/off vehicle. Everyone should be respectful of public lands so they don’t ruin it for everyone else.
  • @WAus_Explore
You are the 4wd dad. The approach you took on this video and others is very much what we need. Not talking sh*t or yelling about it. You just want to show the viewers what can happen and how to better the situation. Love it mate 👊🏼
  • @fourocker
Matt you have been kind and very generous in your breakdown and assessment of this situation, this is just outright stupid and dangerous, there's a (assuming) perfectly good winch and perfectly capable (probably worth restoring classic) vehicle with no offroad driving skill demonstrated, made me angry and this crap spoils it for us genuine adventurous 4wd drivers.
  • @cyclemoto8744
These muppets should lose their license and receive fines. The towing vehicle clearly isn't registered for road use, this fact in addition to many other aspects of the demonstrated behaviour reinforces the group's intent to disregard all rules and a total lack of respect for the environment and others who access the area. Thanks for sharing MM. Cheers
  • @cameronwood1994
This act of brazen, moronic stupidity makes my blood boil - both the littering and the driving standards. I see behaviour like this all of the time here in the UK on our so-called "green lanes" (which are unsurfaced public roads to those overseas) to the point I'm convinced it's the majority here and not the minority who behave like this. I'd say we should be educating these people but in my experience they don't want to be educated, and would carry on regardless. As for the alcohol, it should never be mixed with operating a vehicle of any sort. People get killed through drinking and driving, and I'm sure many of us know, or are aware of, at least one person affected by someone driving in an impaired condition.
  • @47Rolling
I’m not against anyone owning whatever brand of vehicle they like. The more makes the better but Mullets, alcohol and GQ ‘s do tend to go together
  • @HotSneks
11:30 thank you for clearing that up. Calling it how it is Matt, this was one painfully long goon exhibition and nothing was achieved but pure embarrassment. Shame that GQ was in good condition too. It took a bunch of goons doing a terrible job spotting and reverse sending it the bottom for it to finally leave the chat.
  • @ToyBJ
You’re more polite and patient than I am Matt and I think from reading all the negative comments that there is nothing I could possibly add to highlight the stupidity and total disregard of our national parks. This is the type of 4x4ing we don’t need.
  • The 4wd community needs you Matt as a leader to ensure our tracks stay open. These idiots only think of their fun today and they don’t care about tomorrow. You can still have an awesome time without destroying the tracks and vehicles. We need to follow other countries like the US to preserve our 4wd tracks for the future.
