  • Hidden Figure (2016) is a very inspirational movie and it's educational because it highlights the names of 3 african American women who were vital to NASA and space exploration that a lot of people didn't know.
  • That astronaut was not going up unless she gave the “Ok”. He knew where to put his trust!
  • I was so thrilled watching this because when I was young my mother would often talk to me about their remarkable story. You see I'm Hispanic of Puerto Rican desend and my mother in 1958 became the first Hispanic R.N. nurse in New York City and in 1964 the supervising nurse after 23 years at a Manhattan hospital she than left to a hospital in Boston to be the director of nurses there. My mother is truly amazing and is my hidden figure. ❤️
  • My 8 year old math obsessed daughter absolutly loves this movie. These women are her heroes!
  • This was an incredible movie and actually the bathroom part got me too. I recommend everybody watch it. If it didn't win an Oscar for best movie it should have
  • This movie came out when I was eight and my mom took us to see it in theaters, I was appalled by how these women were treated just because they have darker skin. That is what inspired me to always defend people no matter who they were.
  • You should play clip when Catherine come from toilet instead of your recap. Her voice and her acting skill really give me chill. Amazing actress👍
  • Sometimes when I think I am doing very bad I watch the toilet scene. no matter what I am going through I can go use the restroom, except at Starbucks.
  • Oh my God! This literally gave me goosebumps. Hats off to these wonderful and brilliant women! I'm ASIAN and I highly believe too in equality. You can say your own principles and I'll respect it...as much as I respect everyone's color, gender, etc. :) Everyone no matter what can be amazing. :)
  • Being a black female engineer, I love and appreciate this movie soo much. Truth is today in 2022 there is only 10% of black engineers and 3% of are black women. There’s still room for improvement!!! #NSBE
  • I've seen the movie and it inspired me but made me realize how foolish NASA was for almost letting the Soviet beat them completely in the space race all because of something as PRIMITIVE as racism. US losing to the Soviet would definitely have changed the balance of global power as we know today.

It really brings me to tears the injustice that ppl of color have to be exceptional to be recognized. Great movie to tell it like it is. Much respect to all involved in telling this story.
  • This is a great movie. A movie I will not waste time to recommend to anyone who wants to discriminate against other people simply based on some belief or what they feel. No need to hate anyone who hasn't hurt you. When we celebrate, tolerate and appreciate our diversity and differences then we can move forward and have a happy world.
  • “In those days black people were highly suspicious .” I don’t think anything has changed today though
  • When you judge people based on color and stereotypes, you wind up blocking things that could be beneficial to the world. Our creator put us here with all types of capabilities, regardless of skin color. Once we realize that, we can do so much more for our world. ❤
  • I love this movie. However I would like to see a movie done on Andrew Higgens. The man who made the landing crafts for WW2. Even though Andrew Higgins was a white man in Louisiana. He had a completely integrated work force during WW2. Which was unheard of at that time. Andrew Higgins also made sure that all of his workers regardless of color or ethnic background made the same wages for the same work.
  • They played this movie so well. Makes you proud to see this. ❤❤ through all the disappointments They still kept going
  • Black woman are so strong and beautiful. Honestly, I can't believe at one point people went as low as to not like us just because of it.
