I agree with others that the 11 minute version takes you to another level of listening pleasure. This version is but a snack compared to the extended version.

The full album version is 11 wonderful minutes long and a total groove and that guitar solo just goes on and on in a perfect groove from beginning to end. I Put A Spell on You and Suzi Q next

Marvin Gaye did the original version. It’s amazing! Other CCR “Bad Moon Rising”, Have you ever seen the rain”, “The Midnight Special”, “Up around the bend”.

This was originally performed by Marvin Gaye in 1966 and was covered by Gladys Knight and the Pips in '67 along with a whole bunch of other artists including The Temptations and Ella Fitzgerald. It's a classic.

When CCR does someone’s song they seriously give it complete justice. The mark of a great artist and CCR is a great artist. Amazing band!

This is not the full version of CCR’s cover, they basically have a great big jamming session throughout. I love CCR and I love the sound of this version

When others sing this song, it's "I heard it through the grapevine". When CCR sings it, it's "I hoid it through the grapevine". Gives it a bit more flavor.

The eleven minute version has a longer guitar solo to really sink your teeth into. Also, check out their cover of "I Put A Spell On You"; you will love it!

“Have You Ever Seen The Rain” is another CCR classic to check out! They do a cover of “I Put a Spell On You” that’s also decent.

The dirty, low down evil percussion just makes this THE definitive version of this song. Plus that sweet howling falsetto takes it stratospheric.
