Colorado authorities warn public not to use blue USPS mailboxes after Boulder man was arrested

Federal government incompetence. These people should be facing decades in prison. Where are the feds?

The warning at the end….don’t put checks or anything with “personal information” in the blue boxes😳 Well, I guess they’re just large paperweights sitting outside.

Planning to replace locks and keys? What seems to be the hurry? Not bashful about raising the rates though.

Why are they not showing us the picture/name of the arrested individual? Protected class?

Post office could care less. My mail handler has been leaving our neighborhood mailbox open between the first and third of the month, is how it started. Now, it seems to be when there are a lot of packages. And always around Christmas. I took pictures, video and everything. Local pd: not our jurisdiction, FBI: call the post master, Post Master of Las Cruces: ok we will get to it, U.S. Postal Police: you’ll have to complain to the local post master, and Finally PostMast Generals Office of the US: NO RESPONSE. 13 years later and the same mail carrier is still doing this and nothing has ever been done.

It's so safe in Colorado. You can't even use the mailbox.

If mailboxes are not safe then why are we funding the USPS?

Paid twice for USPS to provide proof of delivery. Both were court documents, both were lost. Ended up paying UPS. Our mail system is an absolute joke.😢

If blue mailboxes are unsafe to use then they need to REMOVE them.
