I did my first 10 years growing up in west palm . We would go to peanut island . Wow that place has changed since the 60s

I cannot believe you did not snorkel at blue heron bridge where you got on the boat. That is the single best shore dive in the state of Florida. You see eels, grouper, lobster massive star fish. If you ever go back that’s where to do ur snorkeling.

This is my fave place in South Florida. A lot of people don't even know about it.

I use to live in that area 40 years ago, and the island and surrounding area has totally changed

I used to swim to Peanut Island from my house when I was a kid.
