The Rock's reputation has gone downhill recently. There was him lying about being natural, the controversial Maui fundraiser, and his appearance in the WWE's most disliked video. As a result, for the first time ever, The Rock has begun to lose followers. Why?

John Cena’s words over a decade ago still rings “I was a fan of the rock, but then I met Dwayne Johnson. And I don’t like Dwayne Johnson”

The fact that people think celebrities are special and pure because they are in the spotlight is astoundingly stupid.
  • This is why Bautista is the only wrestler-turned-actor that I like. He's actually making an effort to improve, and takes roles that guys like The Rock and Steven Seagal won't take. In Bladerunner, his played a minor character who gets defeated by the smaller Ryan Gosling in a fight. In Glass Onion, he played an "alpha male crowd" streamer who lives with his Mom and gets murdered. He doesn't have the "main character syndrome" like the Rock.

The whole Black Adam debacle is where the public finally saw his mask slip.
  • Standing next to Oprah was the worst thing he did in recent history

Isn't it funny how it's always the Billionaires and Millionaires who are asking civilians for donations?

For all things said, Batista is actually a really decent actor in his own right. Dwayne Johnson is a movie star. Batista is an actor.

Lying about his actions. Lying about his past. Making fake stories about his achievements in his early life. Saying he'd dominate in MMA. Starting to eat "junk" food and denying it. Getting mad for interviewers for calling him out on his lies. Having contract to not to lose fights in movies.. So he wants to be the next Steven Seagal?

The first person that 2000 Rock would call a jabroni, is present-day Rock.
  • He is on steroids trying to act like he is just very motivated and all natural. It's disturbing

Trying to be liked by everyone will eventually cost the respect of everyone.
  • "Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?"... yeah, the people of Maui.
  • @dee_1016
The actor that never stopped acting

OPRAH COULD HAVE BUILT EVERYONE IN MAUI A HOME AND HER BANK ACCOUNT WOULDN'T EVEN DROP ...

“And if you spend anytime on IG, you know the comments are a hot mess” Not surprised 😂😂

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
  • I truly feel like we grew up with The Rock and this new generation is growing up with Dwayne Johnson
  • It's almost impossible in this day and age to stay in the spotlight and not be picked apart for the tiniest things that you have or have not done in your career.

Guys like The Rock are one of the factors that lead to me repeatedly injuring myself in the gym. Believing they were "all natural" I pretty much suffered from bigorexia wondering why I couldn't achieve the same physique... so I lifted way too heavy resulting in multiple hernias in multiple locations. But I was stupid for believing they weren't using steroids.
