I just turned 40, but been diagnosed with arthritis for few years now. Symptoms are getting worse quickly. I been told that I may have spinal stenosis, I am afraid of aging because I know that it will only get worse. I am not a smoker or drinker, just a history of hard work, injury and stress accelerated the deterioration of my physical body.

I have learned more from you than my GP. Currently in physical therapy and even they don't explain as much as you. Thank you! Glad I found you on YouTube.
  • You are the only doctor speaks truth and serve people for no profit

I've just been diagnosed with C V at 56 probably due to my poor posture and my 35 year career as a plumbing and heating engineer. I've been to see spinal surgeon and done plenty of research but your explanation has given me the best understanding of exactly what's going on and what best I can do, i also feel a bit more positive for my future. So thankyou for this video.

I've been studying reflexology for years and massaging my body for hours on a night but I still have spinal problems. This video is brilliant and from now on I'll do the recommended exercises. Thanks

Thank you Dr for your videos. Im near 61, but have worked pretty physical jobs and tried to remain athletic through the years. The last few years I have begun to have stiffness and some pain down the left back side of the neck in to the shoulder and part of the arm. Your tips have helped to give the neck and shoulder some looseness and pain relief.

Thanks for posting this. These are the exercises that a p.t. prescribed for me years ago and this gave me a refresher for doing them correctly.

Hi Dr Rowe, I am 66 and was extremely fit up to August 2022. In the last 10 years I was hit by cars twice while riding my push bike. These events caused multiple fractures and whiplash. As of last year my neck started to hurt a bit and over the last 8 months I have been getting worse and the pain is chronic. My pain management doctor keeps prescribing Nortriptyline which is not helping at all with the pain. He even increased the dose, but it isn't helping. The accident insurance won't cover physiotherapy or chiropractor. I have tried hot and cold packs, going for gentle walks, riding the exercise bike at home but I don't seem to improve. I told my doctor that I feel that I have cervical spondylosis and asked him to do new imaging but he replied that there is no need for imaging. The pain is also felt in my groin and feet. Since I am very inflamed, are these stretches safe to do? My neck is very stiff. Thank you.

  • Spondylosis and bone spurs are a bone remodeling disease. Some AS moves very quickly - a few years. It’s also related to Kibselia bacteria. Also being too thin can cause spondylosis. Since there is less support from muscles.
