After rehab Knox was able to walk. It ended his NFL career, but luckily not his life.

Can you do Sterling Sharpe? His injury looked so little but ended a HOF career.

For those that care, J Knox has recovered and is walking normal these days. Wouldn't know he suffered such a devastating injury. He had the choice to try and come back or receive a hefty monthly check from the NFL for the rest of his days. He chose to take the check. Him and his family are well.
  • I had no idea this was what happened Knox! It looked like he literally got completely bent in half! I can't believe Knox survived this! Thank the Lord he did! Another excellent and informative video.

I’ll never forget watching this game. Sucks because Knox was such a fun player to watch
  • @Bronk0Nagurski
I was watching the game when this happened. I thought he died on the field. Its the worst game injury I've ever seen.
  • It was this hit that started the heavy late hit calls and protected most offensive players going forward

I was 15 when I saw this. It was a tragedy because Johnny Knox was such a fun guy to watch. I'm glad he is alive

I saw an update from Knox from a few years ago, he seems to have had nerve damage but was able to walk. He seemed like a nice guy that got a bad freak injury.

As a Bears fan I recall that game, and that was hands down the most gruesome injury I saw in a game i was watching. I for sure thought Knox was paralyzed and would never walk again. It was a miracle that he wasn't paralyzed and was able to live a normal life with his family. Yes it ended his career, but at least he was still able to walk and actually raise his daughter.
  • @OutgrownThings
Knox had unbelievable potential. Late round drift pick who was exceeding all expectations early on. But he’s very lucky he wasn’t paralyzed.

This is the hardest injury I ever had to watch. I couldn't imagine.
  • Imagine if this happened to a average person..a in shape nfl player took this much of an injury an average person probably would have been completely paralyzed
  • @Keym78
Knox was such a talent. He could take the top off a defense with his speed, and was really developing as a solid WR. It's a miracle that he can even walk today, let alone make almost a full recovery. Glad he's doing well.

If you're going through past Injuries id love to see Riccardo Lockette covered. Something about how if he was touched wrong while down on the field he could have died terrifies me.

Johnny Knox was on his way to having a really respectable career until that happened
