I love how THE BENGALS HEAD COACH agreed to cancel the game. And he went to the hospital. That’s some class and some heart right there. Good job Zac Taylor ❤

The medical team was absolutely flawless. They were wicked fast and those few seconds paid off and they were able to save Damar Hamlin!

"You won, you won the game of life" - this hits my heart so hard.
  • Even though it haw been around 8 months since this happened, I still teared up watching this video, and everything that happened.I'm a huge Bills fan, but seeing everyone in the NFL community come together was amazing.

The medical crew on that field deserves endless praise, they had not a second to waste and barely any room if any at all for error and ended up saving this guys life. Now he's out there as a full participant in practice only months after this and has made what looks like a full recovery.

"I almost lost my life out there. Seeing many people meet me and cheer for me when I was discharged from the hospital almost felt like a 'welcome back' to life." - Damar Hamlin

I had never heard of Damar. Didn’t follow the Bills, but when this happened I was heartbroken for the family and friends. Watched for daily updates. So glad when he was well enough to go home. He is such a caring man. When I watched this video, I cried. Best wishes and God bless.

I work in EMS, and me and my coworkers were all watching this live at the station. We all speculated it was commotio cordis, which ive never seen before after 5 years as a first responder. The only reason he lived was those medical staff being well training. Spectacular job. Im so happy hes alive and well.
  • "Did we win?" damn, that's how much he was dedicated to sport, he literally survived death, and he still very deeply cared if his team won or not

My family are diehard Cincinnati fans but I remember my mom and dad both in tears watching, and I came running in hearing them cry. I remember my mom crying saying "that's someones babyboy" can't imagine what he and his family went through

Humanity may seem lost at some points but remember that good people still exist and we CAN come together.

man, i teared up watching this. the amount of love shown by everyone towards Damar is so special.
  • Lifelong Bills fan here. Thank you, Cincinatti. Thank you so much for the grace you have always shown us and the respect you gave to Damar and our team that night. Thank you.
  • @Fadzi2342
Trainers and EMTs on the field, and all the medical staff were the MVPs that night. Neurological functions completely intact. Simply amazing.
  • @OPCombo
The sportsmanship created by both teams is like a movie. Both teams did incredible and many people tuned in to support Damar!
  • I love how the Bengals cared so much for the Bills during this heartbreaking moment. No matter what the scenario is, it’s not everyday that you see that on or at a football game.
  • The night that it happened, it took so long to get any kind of real update, I honestly thought we'd witnessed a young man die on national television. I'm still amazed he came out of that with no significant neurological damage. The part about Damar's charity getting that explosion of donations always makes me smile.

Watching this a year later, and it still brings tears to my eyes.
