  • Tom I have had this grill for about 3 months now and have smoked Chuck roast, meatloaf. Cooked air fried wings on it and several other things. It is a great little grill. It really packs the smoke flavor in the meat. In fact you have to be careful on some things because it will over smoke things like thin cut pork chops. I would recommend this little grill to anyone that is looking for a smaller patio grill for say an apartment or just someone that is a grill collector like we are 😬.
  • This Ninja Outdoor Woodfire Grill has make me the king of the grill at my home. I smoked baby back ribs on my first cook with this grill. Now I had never made very good ribs prior to using this grill. Results? The ribs came out falling off of the bone on my first try. My wife loves the food I am turning out, so much so that I can hardly get her to cook anymore. Well, the meat anyway. This piece of equipment is the best way to have others around you think you're a grill master even when you're not. Hint: Cook your meats by temp, not time.

I love my WFG. Sold my propane & big pellet grill. Stil have my original Weber red kettle, 43 years now, and I will always keep it. But this WFG is so easy to use and the flavor it imparts to the food is amazing! Looking forward to you chuck roast cook.
  • This is such a fantastic little grill. Everything I make comes out perfect, esp wings and steak. Love it.
  • I'm so happy with this grill I'm already sold my big charcoal grill and saling my masterbuilt portable grill love the how this grill cooks and juts ordered the flat top for it..thanks Tom for the review
  • I worked on the Ninja woodfire grill commercial campaign (film crew). I was impressed with the product. We got to taste a lot of the food.
  • You finally convinced me on the Fire and Water rub. Used your link and grabbed one of each flavor in a three pack. Thanks Tom!

I have been grilling chuck-eye steaks for a couple of years now. They have always turned out great!!

just bought the pro xl connect with the 2 thermometers. Smoked a pork shoulder butt roast to perfection. Trying the Steak and Corn on the Cob tonight.

You said; “In the five hundreds, that’s pretty cool.” I would think that was pretty warm! 😂 Steaks look great. Chuck eye is great value steak.
  • @tedz.
That be a rare one! Sometimes I wish I had no grills at all, then I could get one of whatever Tom is cooking on that night. You may have seen it, Blackstone came out with the next generation of the pizza oven you have. It looks pretty nice!
  • I have been looking at this since it came out but my question is how difficult is the inside of the lid to clean. I am a widow cooking for one think it would be just the thing.
  • The ONLY wart I've encountered with using the NWFG is the smoke box. Yes, I can use the other flavors of pellets from other manufacturers. No, I cannot selectively add smoke flavor. I must fill the smoke box to the top when using it. I must let the smoke box consume all the pellets that were loaded. I can declare a cooking mode to also include smoke. I cannot cook and then cold smoke -- well I can, but I have to wait 5 minutes while the Ninja pre-heats the smoke box. You have to enjoy the smell of smoke. After you cooked your food the smoke keeps coming out of the cooker until the pellets are gone. If he food didn't taste so darn good I would complain about the smoke box. I'll find that happy workaround one day but until then I'm thinking about what other things will cook on the NWFG.

Great video. I ordered one today! Curious as to what type/brand knife is that and do you like? Thx
  • Do you have to use the pallets if ur going to use the grill part only?
  • I've never grilled Chuck eye steaks before, but I see you cooking them all the time, so I just picked a couple up. I've got High hopes.
