  • Kenny wrote this song. He was a prodigy as a child but meeting SRV set his path in music. He practiced to play electric guitar like Stevie. Kenny is a force in blues rock in his own right.
  • @drewg5637
Kenny was completely self taught on guitar. Noah Hunt does the vocals.
  • Kenny Wayne is a great artist. Started out in his teens. This is his song, not a cover. Noah Hunt on lead vocals on this one. Numerous albums and hits. Check out their version of Turn to Stone by Joe Walsh of the Eagles.
  • Great breakout tune for Kenny Wayne Sheppard in the 90s. You may also be interested in listening to some tracks by Ian Moore and/or Johnny Lang.
  • This was written by Mark Selby with Kenny and Mark has a good version and some other great rockin blues. Kenny can tear up a guitar.
  • Thank Austin Texas 6th Street for that vibe the blues guitar Mecca , Kenny Wayne shepherd , Eric Tessmer, Eric Gale, even Ian Moore cut there teeth on 6th Street
  • "Kings Highway" is a good Kenny Wayne song but you need to check out Johnny Lang - "Lie to Me"
  • @genov9374
Co-wrote: KWS, Mark Selby (rip) and Mark's wife Tia. Mark does a lot of bues/country crossover. KWS also has the country sound as a foundation. This was definitely electric guitar. Mark does a nice acoustical rendition of Blue on Black, but this one, KWS is the ultimate Blue on Black. Love to hear you place some Mark Otis Selby: Smoked, Dont you throw that mojo on me, 9 pound hammer, Backdoor to my heart.
  • @JG-ty5lt
Another young blues guitar prodigy is Jonny Lang, try "Lie To Me"
  • Yeeees. Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Awesome guitarist. Got his collection also. Check out some Jonny Lang.
  • @GBeret83
Saw this cat in a nightclub in Lexington, Ky. called A1A back in 2000. Kenny Wayne Shepherd's got mad skills on a guitar!
  • Here's some songs you love. Ellie King - Ex's and Oh's, Collective Soul - Heavy, Little Feat - Spanish Moon, Fallout Boy and Taylor Swift - Light Em Up, Pat Travers - Snortin Whiskey
  • FFDP covered Kenny Wayne's song. I hadn't heard Death Punch's version so I got to react first time virtually too. It was very true to Kenny's recording. There's an acoustic rhythm guitar track but electric leads.
  • Genesis live at Wembley stadium 1987. 'Abacab', 'Mama', 'Domino' or 'The Brazilian'.
