I think someone else was tinkering with it as batteries don't normally hold out that long and the truck hadn't lost it's prime. Sure nice to hear it come back to life again. Back then the engines in these trucks would sing and whistle so sweet. Today they sound so tinny.

My freightliner had set for three years and the batteries were still good. The CAT fired right up.

Definitely an old Warner truck. First truck I drove, my old boss had 4 of those all identical. Cat 3406 with Super 10 transmissions

We put down old carpet or a tarp... doesn't stop the moisture totally but works for weeds.

Rebuilding one of these 14 or 15l motors to 600hp with factory parts is far far cheaper than one of your fresh built 1200hp picmup motors
