Today, we’re doing something a bit different - we’re taking a trip to the southernmost point in the United States, Key West, and talking about where it came from, what its significance was to American History, what role it plays today, and where it's headed.     I love the florida keys. It's my happy place. I'm a short boat ride from key west here in swfl and still wish I could live there. You've done great research on key west. Key west has dark history.

    I just wanted to add that, the little white house can still be used for the president of the united states residence. Matter of fact, it still is considered a presidential residence. I believe the last president (former at the time) to stay there was Jimmy carter in 2007 and Bill Clinton in 2005.
