Pittsfield, MA zero day #4 (mi. 1576.1) Had to walk a few road miles today, but there’s no credit for that haha. Walked to a breakfast place then went over and hung outside the public library to upload 4 videos. Kept walking another mile or so and got picked up by “Billy Jack”, a local who did 3 LASHES (Long Ass Section Hikes) of the AT, finishing last year. He took us to Walmart and he gave us his cell number to set up a ride with him back to the trail tomorrow … clutch! I bought a new fuel canister at Dick’s then we grabbed lunch at 99 because it was close by. We walked the rest of the way to the motel then started the “chores”. I grabbed a large ham Italian this evening and am now crashing for the night. It’s about 9 miles first thing in the morning to grab my mail drop in Cheshire, MA tomorrow.

Todays menu: An egg bacon & avocado bowl, 2 bottles of chocolate milk, bottle of orange juice, a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, a chicken & cheese flatbread, ginger ale fountain drinks, bottle of ginger ale, large ham & Swiss Italian, bag of salt & vinegar chips, small package of donuts, small side salad, a Snickers bar, and water.
