  • To revive the old joke "There are 10 types of people. Those who understand Binary. And those who don't"
  • @maxsmith5278
I love how enthusiastic he is, might be one of the first times I’ve had fun while learning a new concept
  • @RandomBitzzz
I remember learning this skill (decimal to binary and vice versa) on day one of my computer science class in college. Professor explained it a lot like you did, without the fun factor. I had struggled to learn this on my own,. reading about it in programming books. This was long before Youtube. Sometimes it just takes watching someone do it for the lightbulb to click.
  • @Growingwiser550
What’s funny is I had someone who’s CCNP certified try to explain which came first, the IP address, or the subnet mask, and he couldn’t explain it as well as you just did and left me totally confused. You can’t build a picture in your head if you don’t understand how things work. Thanks for the explanation.
  • Sir, do you know that you are a blessing for a lot of people? Especially students? Like thank you from my bottom of my heart!!
  • @X0_BADWOLF
Well, since Im a trainee as an It-specialist, i've already learned how to convert binary to decimal and decimal to binary.... but somehow, i still watched the full video, just because you totally hooked me with your enthuisiastic presence.... keep dooing this shit... im loving it!
  • The effort, dedication and, especially, the passion you put into your videos is impressive, I hope people know how to appreciate it.
  • Chuck, I have been watching your channel for a few years now. I Finally took the dive and opportunity to start into the IT field!! Thank you so much for proving to me I can do it! Your videos have already been very helpful on my studies. Thank you again!
  • @KMFDM_Kid2000
"We'll have flying cars in the future!" Actual future: Surprisingly educational YouTube subnetting video, oh yeah and balls at the end.
  • @thoscofer
I struggled years ago trying to understand this concept and never fully understood how it works, not because I'm dense but because it was not explained well, or in a way that I was able to have it click with me and understand it. Thank you, Chuck! You have a great and entertaining way to explain things, ridiculous but still fun examples and a great way of breaking things down! Thanks again, sir! I'm getting my CCNA soon!
  • Holy shit. Thanks so much for this series Chuck. You've explained subnetting & IP addresses better than my lecture in the last 3 months. If I pass my exam it will be because of you.
  • Awesome! I am studying for my CCNA and learning python, this makes A LOT easier to learn subnetting. I really enjoy the passion that you put on teaching, it is just awesome!
  • @jeeper426
we used the CCNA training from Cisco Network Academy when i did my Net+ and A+ class in tech, and you just managed to completely simplify the process of subnetting to a point it doesnt give me a raging migrane, i think i'm going to forward this to some former classmates of mine as well, thanks for simplifying it to a point it makes sense instead of just a general worksheet of "here is a number, make number do thing"
  • @jacobmartin3991
Just finished my 1st semester for CIT and this was way easier to understand than what was in the text book. Thank you for clearing it up for me.
  • @AndrewRamdayal
Great lesson. I have been teaching subnetting this way for years. Great Job Chuck!
  • @mrstark7491
You saved my finals, because of your video series on subnetting I was able to get a good grade in computer networking course. Best video on subnetting period.
  • @BlueberryPlays_
I was learning this on Ciscos Network academy skills for all, and struggling to understand what they were doing. After this one video I understand the conversion a 100x better. Thank you Chuck
  • @brothamane8747
Chuck you are an awesome teacher, you make things so much easier to understand with your real world examples and layman's terms that everyone can understand. Thanks for all that you have contributed to the IT community.
