Be Kind to Yourself, Beloved Child of God

Published 2023-11-08
“It’s taken me a long time to discover how to become the person that I should be. I’ve grown up feeling a lot of shame, not belonging, and feeling like I don’t fit in. I have discovered that many of my external challenges stem from unresolved internal conflicts, such as resentments, childhood wounds, and carried shame.

“I know each of us have our own trials and struggles but for me, recognizing that Jesus Christ gave the perfect example, I don’t question His love for me, but at times, I’ve had a hard time accepting that love in myself. Through my art, I hope to inspire others to seek wholeness and oneness, to reflect inward and ask, am I at peace within?”

  • I can relate to his story. Not being good at sports kept me on the outside of social groups in the church. I often felt "What is wrong with me? Why am I not good enough?". The day I realized that there was nothing wrong with me was the day I heard Him say "You are good enough. You have always been good enough. You are my son and I love you."

I can relate, I'm 57 years old and struggled with the same thing, until I met the Missionaries learned about Jesus Christ and the Restored Gospel what a difference it has made in my life I was baptized 11 27 21 so grateful the Heavenly Father sent Missionaries to my door

This is a beautiful testimony. The artwork is stunning. I'm grateful to Tyran for his vulnerability and for sharing his talent.

This video runs deep inside me. I struggle with the misconception that if I am kind to myself, if I try to see the good in myself, then I'm being arrogant. That's not true. It can be hard to be humble while allowing yourself to feel good about who you are. Jesus doesn't want you to be so humble that you can't love yourself. Thank you for making this.🥰

Oh, little brother, I love you. Thank you for sharing your feelings and struggles. I see you, and you are a beloved Child of God. I've no doubt we hung out before heading down here. Thank you for bringing visibility and understanding to well-intending people who don't have exposure or opportunity to understand your unique traits. Hugs, through the comments section.

I love this message! We are all children of God, and he loves us, and wants us to love ourselves.
  • Treat yourself the way Jesus would treat you: with honesty, compassion, and an eye toward your eternal potential.

I Love this beautiful message. Christ’s compassion for us is so powerful and he calls us to live with hope and faith and love so that healing can happen from the inside and give light to all!
  • That’s a masterpiece for sure! Thank you for your testimony and for truly knowing who you are.
  • That is a beautiful piece of art you created into a mural, as well as the thought behind it, at my age now ( 67 ) I still struggle to see the beauty in me that so many others around me see that our Heavenly Father created in me, so in my daily prayers I ask my Heavenly Father to bless me and allow me to see myself through his eyes 👀 so that I’m able to see myself as he does and recognize all the talents and beauty he has created in me as well as the tools that are available to me to help me develop those beauties and talents within me and magnify them and use them for good, and I also know without a doubt that God does NOT create no junk 😅, keep doing what your doing and moving forward with your eyes on our lord and savior Jesus Christ who will leads to our Heavenly Father if we let him 👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼… watching from Playa del Carmen Mexico 🇲🇽 👋🏼🫶🏼

Artists are always on the "outside" yet they are the ones that bring us the most joy. But perhaps they aren't outside.. they just rise above the crowd and are seen as beacons of light. 😌
