How I Found Out God Loves Me

When I was born I could hear just fine, but I started to lose my hearing around the age of four, by the age of six I lost my hearing completely. I struggled to feel love and peace throughout my childhood because kids would tease me and made me feel that I was less than them. I felt very alone and afraid to talk for fear they would make fun of me. It brought me to a very dark place and afraid for the future because I feared what my life would be like if no one wanted to talk to me. But I realized I was seeking the wrong sources, I was seeking acceptance and approval from those around me. I thought if they would accept me I would have a sense of belonging and happiness. It was not until I started to pray to God and turn to Christ that I started to feel peace. Being deaf no longer bothers me, now I focus on what I can do to help others find their own personal peace by turning to Christ.

Remember: God doesn't just love us. He loves YOU in specific. You need Him and His Son in your life. He is your Father and Christ is your brother. If you haven't already, please. Come unto Christ. You will not regret it. His is your Redeemer.

This piece is so beautiful! I wish I could purchase a copy. I love when you said- "I no longer worry what others think about me. Instead I worry about how I can help them find the peace and the love that I have found." I want to shift my thinking to that.

Growing up, I went to church with the Allred family, and they are some of the most amazing people I've ever met. Sarah has exemplified greatness, and is such an inspiration to us all. That is an amazing art piece, and I hope that you keep on creating beautiful art!

Dear Lord we are struggling financially and two of our children are not settled down yet. As I am listening to this song I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit around me soo relaxing and I trust in the Lord always and I believe every thing will be changed soon and 2023 will be bring lots of blessings to us and to everyone who is reading this message. I love how god love everyone no matter the circumstances and how god wouldn’t abandon us. For awhile I stopped going to church but ever since I got into college, I started going a lot. Because of the friends I have in my new ward. 😁
