They have both been gone for 21 years and they still have more game than any other celebrity couple today! Did you see that Children? That is called talent!
-
Who else wants to go back to 1968?
-
If anyone ever has doubts about weather soul mates really exsist, then look no further than this couple and this video. If you’re fortunate enough to find your very own then I say God bless you!

June's pure voice no silly offensive body gestures needed to sing pure.

These 2 were so good together. RIP

I grew up loving this song as a kid... and forgot about it until it came into my YT NEWS FEED... Can't believe how important this song was to my 9 year old ears back in 1974...

June had one awesome voice!!! And I love Johnny ❤❤!!!

This is awesome. Thanks for posting this. This must be some of the last footage featuring guitarist Luther Perkins, who died 5 August 1968. Luther was one of the original members of Cash's band, The Tennessee Three. A legend in his own right, Luther was one of several famous musicians born on January 8 (1928). The list also includes: Elvis Presley (1935), Shirley Bassey (1937), The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger (1946) and David Bowie (1947). What a great day to be born...

Was there ever a finer looking couple than these two legends in their prime???
-
In love with June’s sound ❤

I recall listening to this on a Camdenten, MO, radio station, when it came out in '68 or so. The fun of the song came blazin' through the airwaves.

I love their love story so much. No matter what him and June were going through they were smiling on stage and having a good time
