What do you think about China's robot production plan and how will it impact the rest of the world?
  • @MarcoTrillion
BYD didn't sell more EVs than Tesla, they included the hybrids in the count and that is what constantly throws people off but if they took the time to check they would see this.
  • 3:32 note this clip is not a humanoid robot. It's a human acting like a robot. It's a lady that owns a restaurant in China and she serves people food in the motion of a robot to attract attention / customers.
  • It does not matter what they look like, the magic is in the code.
  • @artronicsyt
The fact that one guy is competing with a whole Country 😂
  • @ZenLee
would be cool to see some humanoid robot arena fights....or if they could ride an electric😎 unicycle

Forgot the #1 robot Figure!😮 Everyone is in it: OpenAI, Nvidia, Microsoft, rumor Apple, GM, Oracle, Intel!😮

Don't leave out the CCP's policy of Military-Civil Fusion. This essentially says that all 'private' developments can be, and likely are, available to the military for their use.

Robots do not need vacations, time off, unions, bonuses, etc. Just maintenance and electricity. They'll work 24/7 without complaint.

The problem with increasing production with robots, is that no matter how repetitive or menial, you just replaced a human. Corporations are greedy, if they can make bigger profit using robots and or AI, they will replace humans. But, then who will buy products when the job market has decreased.
  • @malsana1
Even though China can easily scale up production, it lacks access to the same cutting-edge GPUs and superchips as Tesla or the USA. This puts them at a competitive disadvantage

Great video. (At 10:32 you got it the wrong way around. I think you meant swap Human labour for Robot labour, not the other way around.) Love the content. Great work.

Im honestly not a believer in humanoid robotics, I would gladly have someone change my mind but to me it just seems unnecessarily complex to make robots that fit human workplaces when you could make workplaces fit for robots. There are places where humanoid robots could be useful, but i think people are getting overly excited and wants to put them everywhere. Applying that logo for example, that can be easily done by a robotarm that just hangs in the roof and attatches the logo. The sorting task as well can just be done by a stationary arm instead of a mobile robot that will require batteries and will need to be charged. I think legs at all is just unnecessary, just make elevators for robots on wheels if you absolutely need mobile robots. The point of these humanoid robots is to do repetitive tasks, but i can think of few repetitive tasks that can't be automated by simpler dedicated solutions.

We all pretend that bots will be making coffee and folding clothes. In reality the soldier of the future is born. Take the time to watch Terminator 1 & 2 again.

I want to develop a human-like robot too, but people may think I copy others, what should I do? add one more arm or leg? any suggestions? 🤔 I know my robot is not better than others but I want to learn…I cannot develop my own just because others already developed one? and label me copy if I develop my own? 😭
  • @mehface
everyone know this is a bad idea...
  • @maxidaho
When humanoid robots are integrated into a production stream, corporations will be able to precisely quantify the value of a production unit. Be it human or robot. Who do you think is going to be on the losing end of that calculation? Profits will rise. Humans will become less valuable.

Buffet and all investors should divest in Chinese companies.
