How to build a million robots. Start with one robot and give it a single instruction: "Assemble two robots and give both of them this single instruction."
  • @artcurious807
for the elderly, disabled, and those with injuries these robots will have an immediate impact. our current shortage in patient transport, nursing, and healthcare workers will be potentially filled by these high dexterity robots. if they can get the cost under $10,000 and keep maintenance costs under a $1000 per year the potential will be huge.

wow very informative !!!! before this video I didn't realize how complex these robots were. the engineers who works on these project are genious !!!!
  • @MasterMayhem78
Although these seem to walk pretty well they’re relying on gravity and balance to keep them stable. When humans walk we aren’t using our legs to propel us forward, we are in fact leaning our body forward and our legs are keeping us from falling head first. This forward momentum is what keeps us stable when we walk. Until robots can accomplish this then walking will always be inefficient and power hungry.

Thank you for a well-done and timely presentation. The visuals are outstanding. Continuous improvement with this robot will go fast, hardware, software, and learned neuro AI.

They should really wrap these robots in flexible solar panels..haha solar panels robot skin
  • @Nobilangelo
Good video, with lots of good technical data.

Actuator just another word for electric motor? No, actuators can also be pneumatic or hydraulic
  • @not2busy
The Boston Dynamics Atlas 2 robot is all electric and judging from their short video, looks to have great freedom of movement. Would be interesting to have that added as a comparison once more details emerge.

😮😮Very good at just watching people live, not immortal, see and be excited. For the work of producers like angels.❤❤
