The key game changer in Man City is Rodri. His absence impacts the team far more than KDB's absence.

Jamaica would be smart to try and recruit Smith-Rowe. He’s actually a quarter Jamaican and would really help improve the quality of their midfield. Jamaica would actually be a legitimate threat to be the best team in CONCACAF if they had been able to successfully recruit all the sons and grandsons of Jamaican immigrants who moved to England. The number of quality English players with direct Jamaican heritage is very high. Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge, Ivan Toney, Kyle Walker, Sol Campbell, Danny Rose, David James, John Barnes, Andy Cole, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ashley Young, Theo Walcott, Chris Smalling, Aaron Lennon, Kalvin Phillips, Andros Townsend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Darren Bent, and Wes Morgan are just some of the English players of direct Jamaican descent. The island has a heritage of creating huge talent from its diaspora for a nation so small.

For the past three years, they’ve been saying who will beat man city and yet no one has done it. I remember last season the first half Liverpool were on top and everybody was saying it’s gonna be Liverpool and then Arsenal was the one that kept even with man city battling for the top two spot. The only way Man city loses is if Man city team wise has a bad year because they are still the team to beat!!! Remember Kevin De B was out nearly the whole first half if the season. 4-peat done now 5-peat champs coming!!!
  • Arsenal need to finish strong. They always start strong but in the middle of the season is their weakness

Now we have a strong back four, Arsenal can land the league title. Calafiori is an important signing for us.

Imagine last year Timber and Tomiyasu not hurt and playing left back instead of Zinchenko. Arsenal would not have conceded so many goals from left side especially against Aston Villa. This year they have tried to plug it with another left back in Calafiori. I am assuming if Calafiori turns out to be as good as the hype is and Timber is back from injury then City will be in trouble. I am only worried about Partey’s position since he is slower than ever and can’t track back . Rice is not the number 8 Arsenal needs so a good option as number 8 as replacement from Partey is what Arsenal are lacking . Basically Arsenal need their own Rodri.

Some people just project their bias on others. Arsenal are good enough to win the league and keep moving forward with every decision they make off the pitch to not just stay competing but getting better. It is obvious they will win the league soon.

Wow Arsenal has some great people behind the scene they sold ESR for 34 million whereas man utd are selling AWB for 20 million.AWB should be atleast 30 million.

I never understand what Melchiot says. Secondly, Arsenal has not won the league not because they are not good enough, just that City is better. City has a lot of experience and maturity.

Problem was not Zinchenko, he was doing exactly what White was doing the other end. Unfortunately, in previous season Xhaka was there to protect Zinchenko. Last season due to Xhaka's absence both Zinni and Gabi had a difficult season. However, on the right side when White go upfront to join the attack, Ødegaard drops back to give him cover. That thing was missing for Zinni at left side.

I have heard this in the past 3 years and you gonna be saying it again next year this time😂

They probably won't have a better opportunity than last season. Treble hangover and some key injuries for the City last season. Strange that the past two summer windows Arsenal have strengthened their defence when the gap in their squad is up front. When they went through their purple patch of not scoring, it was screaming out they needed a striker; it got glossed over, by the good run of scoring after. If they stay relatively injury-free, they have a good chance, but I just feel last season was a huge lost opportunity, and of course they could still add some firepower before the window closes.

Do you think this is what they were saying about Dortmund when Bayern munich were on their way to winning 10 in a row?
