La Mesa/Spring Valley/Grossmont area feels like it's 15mins away from everywhere you want to go tbh. The negative is how close you are to klantee and the drugs. Even still this area feels like it's own island in the valley.

This is so weird. I’m a born and raised San Diegan who has lived in Chicago, now Aurora CO, and I’ve been to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. I’ve never heard of there being “suburbs” in San Diego. San Diego is not Chicago or New York or LA where the city is distinct from from everything around it. The cities I named actually have suburbs because the cities actually incredibly urban. San Diego has the vibe of a giant suburb. Everything around is just their own cities or town. Like Oceanside has never been considered a suburb of San Diego. It’s just Oceanside. This video is odd to me but I’ve been seeing a trend of people saying “suburb” of San Diego.

It surprises me nobody knows Bay Terraces, even born and raised San Diegans. For the most part, Bay Terraces has beautiful views, great schools and close to everything. Yeah Paradise Hills and National City is close but so is Bonita and east Chula Vista. If you are looking for large homes with beautiful views and affordable prices come check it out. I have been here for 3 years and my family loves it.
  • A pal and his wife just got the hell out of north county San Diego. They observed the negatives and realized it was time to leave after many decades living there.

you forgot to mention the roads looking like tijuana and college blvd taking forever to drive on. LOL

Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley, North Park/South Park/Hillcrest...?
  • The most searched city in the nation during 2023 on Zillow‘s website was Chula Vista, according to Zillow’s December 2023 report.

Shout out vista! The best city hands down. Probably the most climate neutral to.

Everything is "10 minutes" away. You sure about that?
