The only way you're going to get a detached, single-family home for $800k is if it is in a bad neighborhood or at the extreme ends of the county, or is bungalow size like 1000-1200 sf. I live in east county in a 1950s built home and it is worth about $1.1 million.

Just wanna add on about traffic that there is no fast lane. Please donāt left lane cruise unless youāre passing guys and youāll never notice the crazy drivers :)
