Amid the ongoing protests in Bangladesh, train services from India and Bangladesh have been halted indefinitely. As the situation worsens in Bangladesh, services of the Bandhan Express and Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express have been stopped by the Eastern Railways. Many Indian students studying in Bangladesh have been transferred to India through the Agartala ICP in Tripura. They explain the situation on-ground in Dhaka. Listen in.

    Bangladesh Supreme court has just now given a ruling scrapping all reservations in Government jobs and issuing orders that Government jobs should be given on Merit only. SCI should follow suit, scrap all reservations and all Indian government jobs too should be given on Merit only. 😊

    Is Bangladesh the poorest country in South Asia? Bangladesh has the second-highest number of international extreme poor in South Asia (27 million) and Pakistan the third highest (10 million). Number one country in poverty in South Asia I don't know.😡
