Perhaps due to plain ignorance or emotional bias, many religious folks think and spout divine command theory as if it hadn’t been soundly defeated thousands of years ago. The funny result is that theists are often operating under the misapprehension that nonbelievers cannot account for morality, when in actuality, it’s exactly the reverse.

I shared this video on my Facebook page. A distant Christian family member who had just joined facebook watched it and had a meltdown. She was so overwhelmed by the fact that she had no rebuttal to the ideas shown in the video that she attacked me relentlessly. I was called a devil worshipping witch who was trying to break down the family. She told me that she'd be happy to see me burn. This is what happens to Christians when they first come across ideas like these. Atheism turns into a witch hunt, and family would rather disown their members than have their beliefs challenged.

I think that DarkMatter created that god scene with the unicorn toys just to have an excuse to animate a knight fighting against a pink unicorn on a rainbow… and that’s awesome.

"if people are not themselves in heaven, then the only true afterlife is in hell" ... that's quotable.

I use to be a Muslim and I asked my mom once if I could listen to music in Heaven and she said that there is no sin in heaven and that meant The desire wouldn’t be there anymore And I just thought So I’m not going to really be Me in heaven that doesn’t sound very appealing.

If the only reason you are moral is because you are afraid of going to hell, then you aren't moral, really.

The hypocrisy of a parent telling a child not to drink alcohol and then drinking alcohol themselves depends on the reason given why the child shouldn't drink. If the parent tells the child not to drink because the child isn't old enough to handle an addictive substance responsibly, then it's not hypocritical for the parent to drink as the parent is remarkably older than the child. If, however, the parent tells the child not to drink because it's wrong or amoral, then yes, it would be hypocritical for the parent to then drink anyway. If you did that, you're only teaching the child that it's okay to be amoral or do bad things when you're an adult or when you're older.

I feel that Satan would treat people in hell really well, just to spite god.

Lmaooo so the whole premise of creating humanity was for us not to be robots, so we can in turn choose to be robots in the afterlife by believing in gods sacrifice. I cannot 😂😂😂
