"Look, Talisman, the sun's comin' up." "Even after the darkest nights, morning always comes. " "Those we've lost gave their lives to bring the morning light, living this day to the fullest is the highest tribute we can offer to their memory." "Now come on, let's get back home."

I never played this game, but I first heard the OST from another YT vid and was hooked ever since. Great pieces of music.
-
so epic ace combat is just so good with its music Ace combat FTW!
-
liberation against tyranny will always give me the inspiration to live and to die for.
-
It needs to be said: This is a MASTERPIECE! Beethoven, Bach, Whomever wrote Carmen; This guy. 5 most influential musicians of all time.
-
This is the greatest Ace Combat medley I've heard as of yet... so epic! This is awesome!

00:00 to 00:43 is possibly my favorite part of the song. It sends chills through my body when I hear it. It feels like my body is echoing, like I can almost feel the boom of the supersonic fighters passing overhead. I'm filled with some sadness for an unknown reason, like I know that the fighter pilots are going to die... and I haven't even played Ace Combat 6...
-
The chorus in this song makes me feel like I could take on the world.
-
that would be sooo awesome!!! altho i really want the wardog squadron back along with yellow squadron from ace combat 4 :p even tho they died
-
that feeling that you get when the razgris theme kicks in .....
-
Not to mention that, if you've played Ace Combat Zero, that Galm One disappeared without a trace, much like how the Razgriz vanished from the earth in mideval times, only to reappear in the form of Wardog in the events of Ace Combat 5.
-
I recognize that tune. That's "President Harling" (from Ace Combat 5 of course). I love that game so much, if I ever get an xbox I'm getting 6 and AH.
-
Broadside! Hit'em with a Broadside!
-
God damn...like around the end of 5 where everyone forms up on your wing, both from yuktobania and Osea. I would cry if it was like that.
-
This is a comment that really shows how I feel about Assault Horizon. Finally, someone who doesn't bash the game every chance they get. It's not even that bad, really.
-
You can hear parts of the Razgriz theme around 8:30 as well.

Even as an avid fan of both Falcon 4.0 and DCS:A-10C, I love the gameplay in Assault Horizon. They used what they had in the medium of a console game to capture different dimensions of fighter combat (you really do switch to different "modes"), and used visual/auditory cues to give a sense of the tremendous forces involved. You can't *feel* the Gs, so they *showed* you. But next time please, please take us back to Strangereal: Ace Combat is ultimately a high fantasy epic with modern armies.
-
Yes and it plays on the last mission where Gracemerria is recaptured

Ace Combat X on the PSP was really good, especially considering the limitations of the platform.
