So so so so... Story story. First of all, this silly man took over an hour to get to my location. I waited anyway because I was having difficulty finding riders on the other apps. He finally arrived and after an hour or so in Lagos traffic, he makes a first stop for fuel, a second stop to pump his tire and less than a minute after, says he needs to pump his tire AGAIN! I mean it's obvious he has a bad tire that needs changing right? Mind you, he didn't have cash o. He was asking for money for all the tire pumping that he was doing. Eventually, he decided to buy a new tire. Which kain wahala be dis? I just want to get to my house, for God's sake! 😭 Why is this man carrying me up and down as he's dealing with his car issues. After almost 4hrs, I get home and this man had the audacity to ask me to add extra money for him. Lmao! He said he had to spend on his tire and whatnot. I told him didn't he see how much Indrive charged me for the ride? Why didn't he pity me? I didn't answer him and just intended to pay him what the app asked me to pay... which was a lot, considering where I was coming from. So because I had sent him a part of his payment cos he didn't have enough when he wanted to buy a new tire, I only had to pay him his balance. I had 5k left to pay him but for some reason I was having the figure I initially went to the resort with in mind (which was 3k more) so I sent him 8k instead. I sha saw that he was overly excited and realized I sent him more than I was supposed to. I asked him to refund me o. I told him he wasn't serious at all. Thank God I asked to check the name that came up for the transaction he was doing. Some Jane person was who I was seeing. I then rectified it and kept waiting for an alert but nothing. I asked him to show me what he had done and I was seeing some 30naira transaction. I said what is going on? He then took it back and mumbled a sorry, that it was the wrong thing or something like that. Seconds later, I saw the refund.
