Moving On From Genshin Impact Lore

It's time to open new doors to more opportunities. Genshin Impact (and the lore community) has been a blast and thank you for supporting me through the years. But I think it's time to finally to expand my horizons and start expanding into more games.

So what changes?
Well, I'll be posting about Genshin Impact less unless it's a topic that I really, really love. Or it's a project that I'm in collaboration with, of course. I'm also going to post more about other games that I'm passionate about or just didn't have the opportunity to since I was scared that it would compromise my channel or something wild like that.

But after careful thinking and also just what I want to do as a creator (and what I think would be for the best for my channel), I'm going to move on from being a Genshin Lore Content Creator and become a Variety Video Essayist. I don't know where that will take me, I don't know what will happen, but I'm excited.

  • Don't worry about me completely leaving Genshin, I don't intend to do that nuh uh im seeing the AQs til the end. I'm too deep into the main Quest and nothing will stop me. Just moving on from being a "genshin lore content creator" (100%-ish Genshin), but rather being more of a variety essayist - covering other games or stuff that I find generally interesting story-wise. For July-August, I most likely will post the scripts I have cooking (Like my Wanderer and Dain Video) alongside the new content I want to make (Dissecting the X character and a short video on the Beginner's Guide) But let's see where the wind leads.

I will never ever fault a content creator for moving on, diversifying, or slowing down. As much i love creating and sharing my interests, content creation is so hard that anyone who chooses to do it will always have my respect. Always follow your passion and others will follow. ❤❤❤

Do whatever u feel like! I love ur channel and will support u regardless <33
  • Doing what your passion leads you to is truly one of the good-old fashioned values of content creation. I’ve completely left genshin, play HSR casually, and are looking far more towards areas outside of gaming. People change as time goes on, just keep on going with the flow Aster. Good luck!
  • I think its a good idea! Diversifying your content is good for your chanel. And I agree that Genshin is a bit overwhelming sometimes, especially the lore. And I love your explanations so cant wait for the other stuff!
  • GAMING WITH ASTER SOUNDS SICK also Vlogging with Aster!? WE'RE EATING TODAY!
  • @CurtisCreates
Honestly I’ve surprised you’ve kept the pace for this long while being a student. Thank you for providing what you have the past years! I look forward to any more Genshin fan analysis

Do whatever you like, Aster, We will still support u with whatever future u wanna go for.. ❤✨ Honestly, I want you to do star rail and Wuthering waves with genshin impact too, but never asked, well bcoz content creation is really time taking, if it's only u doing all job 🥲

Cant wait for your stanley parable playthrough. Its such an amazing game and such a joy to watch especially from an audience perspective. What intrigues me the most is how every player chooses different things and go about the choices it gives. Am going to miss the theory videos but nontheless exciting what content you'll come out with.

Please follow your dreams! While I subscribed to your channel due to your Genshin content, I've absolutely loved your more personal summitions you've posted recently. I hope that you do better wherever you're going! 💖
  • I am happy for you with coming to your new ideas for your future endeavors. But I am going to miss this channel. 😢
  • Happy 3 years aster! I remember watching your streams throughout my college and now that I'm working, it's nice to see you still around.
  • Yeah sis I am envious or jealous of u for ur sucess at same time I am really happy for that Good luck for ur future
  • I swear Ive never heard another person echo my sentiments/feelings/views on games and content creation so perfectly before. My thoughts and feelings feel so validated by this video.

branching out is good! I relate to a lot of what you said here about the infinite marathon that is chasing a live service game's updates. a 6 week update cycle is nuts for anyone to keep up on if they have even a remote amount of responsibilities to attend to in real life. excited to see what stuff you make in the future :)
  • I doubt you’ll read this, but I think you should know that I’m transfem and have decided to name myself Aster thanks to you. I’m really grateful that, through your Genshin videos, you’ve really helped me to find myself. Good luck out there, in the cosmos

Been following since 16k subs, and it's been great to have you. I can't say I'm too interested in other games, but many people are happy to see you do what you like to do. Good luck, and I hope you have fun.

Im honestly so happy that you're moving forward to other things. I think like a lot of long time subscribers/listeners we tend to turn into Raiden Shogun about our favs, but eternity isn't always a good thing. I hope you flourish in new areas and studies. If you do make a new channel, please let us know!
