  • Isayama leaving enough crumbs for the viewers to interpret whatever ending they want to believe in is beautiful

The final does not hint at a spin off, it simbolizes how history repeats and that's it
  • Fun fact:The first ever words said in the manga was "See u later ,eren".Which is same as the last words in the story. And it was both said be Mikasa.

6:07 The kids running towards the tree are actually meant to symbolize the other Scouts as suggested by their similar appearance. I can distinctly point out Jean, Connie, Sasha, Ymir, Historia, Berholdt, Annie, Reiner and Marco 😲 the nine of them also symbolizing the amount of original titan shifter

Just my two cents, Eren did ask her to get rid of the scarf after his demise (which she didn’t), and since she was buried with the same scarf (and next to Eren’s grave no less), chances are her heart remained with him, even if she did remarry 😢. As for the ring, it could be a purity ring?

actually, when Hange died, she was blown up by the ODM gear gaining too much heat and when Erwin died, he got hit by a rock thrown by Zeke but in the afterlife, Hange was not burnt and Erwin did not have a hole in his side but lost his arm before dying and Hange lost her eye before dying

Mikasa will not marry anyone other than Eren, Hajime said that the white lily means purity, virginity and the purple lily means immortality and honor, you must know
  • Its a certainity that Mikasa did not marry anyone else. Anybody who followed her character throughout the series knows that there could be nobody else who could fill that void left by eren. Her feelings were not just love for Eren but rather love combined with lots of obsession. Her last conversation with eren (the sequence where he runs away with her leaving the war) confirms to mikasa that her feelings of love were reciprocated by Eren which he had never done earlier. He showed Mikasa that all he wanted was to leave the war and stay with her, just the two of them. But that reality made him sad knowing that everyone of their friends would die if they made that choice. But for the first time eren openly expressed his love for Mikasa. So her marrying anybody else while still clinging on to the scarf would be as out of character as a titan eating grass. Add that with all the symbolism, it would be illogical to believe that she would ever move on. Hell, even without the symbolism the arguments in favour of her not marrying anyone are too strong to ignore. The Ending song confirms that she meets with eren in the afterlife and this gives the best possible conclusion to their story given how the story ended. (i have very very mixed feelings, mostly negative, about the overall ending of the series and ymir was the worst plot device ever but thats a different debate). I am just happy that they gave an eventual happy ending to Eren and Mikasa.

I like how you added the part where Erens VA and Mikasas VA sang together in the ending song by Linked Horizon, but did you realize that Erens VA came into the song at the time when the bird showed up to wrap the scarf? And he also came in when the lyrics said "Tatakae to takakae to", which I thought was a cool touch.

I'm not sure if she married or not but I will point out that lilies are REALLY popular at funerals, regardless of if that person was married or not. But I suppose if we look at the symbolism it could indicate. But then if that's the case I think I'd find it a bit weird that Mikasa was buried with flowers that represented her virginity statues. Instead of flowers that conveyed messages from her loved ones. Whatever, maybe she asked to be buried with them idk

The thing is our legendary Isayama is the main antagonist here, let me confirm it, in manga when mikasa visited eren's grave she still had those bandages on her hand, even her mother told her to pass it to her kids, but she didn't, and in the coffin there were lily flowers, the scarf( and the scarf also serve as engagement ring) and she still have those bandages along with the flowers and scarf, that prove she didn't married to anyone, And in Anime isayama made changes into this just add a not clearly visible ring instead of those bandages, in order to maintain the hype, it is purity ring, which also can wear in the left hand ring finger, and about the KID, mikasa worked in historia's orphanage, she adopted the kid, And the story starts with Eren, Mikasa and Armin, also end with showing those three, eren's first miksasa second and armin's chasing them, there is no other characters.

Mikasa did not get married. She has been wearing a scarf all her life. Who would be satisfied with his wife wearing the scarf of someone she loved before?
  • Nah Mikasa is a woman of her word and very devoted. It will always be Eren alone.

My main theory of Mikasas marriage is that she didn't marry anyone. The white Lilly you mentioned are Habenaria radiata according to Wikipedia which infact means Purity and delicateness, what's more interesting is the following quote: "I'll be thinking of you even in my dreams" which connects that Mikasa thinks about Eren very much But when she's remarried, I was disappointed with my arguments. But the video is fantastic
  • @kana-730
My honest opinion is that is that Isayama is hiding something for the future
