True professional covering all the fine details. I hope this customer appreciates the amount of integrity you bring to a project. Keep up the great work.
  • Just wanted to say thank you for doing this video. My home was cheaply built and all my kitchen cabinets were so warped I could put my whole hand behind the cabinet and it was still attached to the wall. After the repair, I also noticed my bathroom vanities both in the master bedroom and guest are pulling away from the wall. I was going to do the same repair so I can sell the house but totally did not think about water lines behind the wall. Wow you saved me. I can believe that people or companies do not care about their own quality of work. I am not a repair person but was able to do it myself thanks to folks like you. Thanks again for all your effort in putting out your videos. Peace, Reese

I like how thorough you are in explaining things. You offer insight into how to think about approaching a project, like how to confirm you have found a stud, making sure drawers won't scrape the drywall, and so on. These are things that are really easily overlooked by the casual DIYer. A lot of people who post videos just show you what they do, but don't explain what they're thinking or special considerations they've taken into account.

Shannon is JACK OF ALL TRADES at its best, he's definitely my choice of renovator, too bad he doesn't live in my area.

Very good video, Shannon, and I appreciate your attention to detail. I try to work that way too as a professional painting contractor and it certainly makes a difference when you take your time and do the job right.
  • Your cleat feature was exactly what I am thinking of doing this weekend so that I have room to center my top left-to-right. Now that I saw you incorporate this I will go ahead and do the same. Excellent videos---I'm subscribed! Thank you!

Shannon thank you . I seen this just in time as I never took into consideration that the vanity drawers would hit the moulding on the doorway . Was going to do a trial run with a 1/2 cleat . That will only give me a 1/2 overhang with the counter top on the exposed side , but hopefully it looks ok
  • Hey Shannon thanks for all the videos you provide for us viewers....VERY HELPFUL MAN... JUST WANNA SHOWMY SUPPORT BRO...THANKS
  • @jackc1113
Preparing for an installation that is very similar so found the tip on the cleat very useful. Thanks for a fine video. Look forward to viewing the top installation.

Thanks so much for helping to make my bathroom renovations easier. Many blessings to you.

Thanks for the tips, especially not driving screws blindly into a wall that might have plumbing in it. I think my up and down stairs bath share some plumbing, so I'll be taking extra care when installing a new vanity that I have coming in my downstairs bath so as not to hit anything. Thanks again.

Thanks Shannon, you're a great Carpenter!

Awesome point about adding the extra piece between the vanity and the wall. I did not think of that before. When finding the studs it may be beneficial to point out that older houses don’t necessarily have evenly spaced studs. My house was built in 66 and when we gutted the kitchen we saw there was no rhyme or reason to where the studs were.
