  • I wish that KTLA 5 would just change their name to CTLA 5 because the โ€œCโ€ would stand for CRACK. How nice of CTLA 5 to upload a video about shark attacks at the beach without saying which beach that it is. Not everybody will search this channel to know that this is a beach in Texas. Since youโ€™re a LA news station, and LA is a beach city, people just might assume that there are sharks at LA beaches such as: Malibu Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Rey, et cetera, et cetera. Way to go CTLA 5. Smh. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

This is proof that sharks come up close to the shore. ๐Ÿฆˆ

Seems like there are food shortages in the ocean as well as on land. Odd behavior for a shark to be in that shallow of water.
  • TV reporting at its finest! What beach? When? The headline makes it sound like a shark happened to be swimming around when an attack took place. What attack? Was the shark just there to watch and enjoy the surf?

Youโ€™re in the sharks territory, why are you shocked with the โ€œoh my goshโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

I have surfed at Bolsa Chica State Beach for years. Every Spring, juvenile (6' feet and under) Great Whites swim near the impact zone (where waves break) in search of sting rays, which Bolsa Chica is notorious for. No harm or danger to surfers or swimmers. I've seen a few. No biggie, but I AM vigilent of them being there.
