the thing i love most about this is not the guitar or the music its the fact that your smiling while you play which shows you enjoy what you do and thats what guitars about that and the fact that your fucking insane gives me a deep respect for you :)

I have been playing on an Intrepid 8 string with a 28.6" scale and stock Cepheus pickups for a few months now. It is my new favorite guitar. It arrived in tune and perfectly setup. I was really surprised when I heard the pickups. The bridge is very hot. It actually rocks. The neck is so so, but the blend is very nice. A very nice guitar all around. Excellent quality for the price. cant beat it.

Hey there TimSE, Ka^3 from SS. Nice job, nice tone, nice song...

I'm thinking of buying one myself, actually. Glad to see they can do the heavy chunk tone and a lead tone well. Now if only I could see what this guitar could do for cleans...

I got the tribal blue 3000. abalone, ebony, etc. I put some super slinkies on her and lowered the bridge a tad and she rocks. eight strings, huh? have to go back and have a look. totally impressed with the quality. can't beat the value.

@m3talbra1ns i used to pick like that but really it doesn't balance anything...i'm trying to change it..it's works for some riffing and slow stuff, but for faster solos AND riffs, you need your other fingers rolled into your palm, pick only with the tip of your pick, rest dead on the lower strings you don't play, pick with your wrist and slightly move your hand towards the freatboard as you ascend..the key is to have less tension as possible in your hand and no excess mass slowing you down..

This song doesn't actually look terribly difficult. :B Is it actually written for an 8 string in F# standard, or is it an alternate tuning that I might be able to muster (except the solo) on my 7? Still, this is a well done rendition and if this is what you consider "nothing special" I would like to know what you do consider special.

@TimatorA i think thats called circle picking i could be wrong tho

Agile's would actually be more "baritone" than the ESP version. The scale length on the ESP is only 27", on the Agile it's 28.625". Also, they aren't back ordered, they are made to order. You have to put down a deposit before they are built.
