  • We must remember every day how important mental health is. There will always be someone available to listen to you.
  • I appreciate your video on setting achievable goals for better mental health. It's a practical approach that can make a significant difference in our lives. Keep inspiring us!
  • Useful information. In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. To feel better and relaxed reduce negative thoughts. Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself physically or mentally with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. [Psychosomatic]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15-20 minutes or more. You can sit or lie down, anywhere-anytime, neck straight and eyes closed. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With practice the mind will relax. Keep a reminder to observe your breath sensations throughout the day and night --before sleep, when reading, at work, in school, at home, etc with eyes open or closed. Make this a lifetime habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.
  • I don't understand as someone who suffers from depression and have done for a very long time, it's a mental health issue. So then why do the services in place expect someone with mental health issues to answer the phone when they make appointments with you . You might be sleeping cos you had a rough night or you might not just want to speak to anyone or your mind set is such you can't deal with life. Full stop When your in your darkest moments do you really think that making a phone call to Samaritans is on your mind . No a phone call is the last thing on your mind . Mental health issues are what it says in the title . I wish the professionals would remember that we are Human not ROBOTS TO FIT IN THEYRE SCHEDULES!!!
