I totally love this clutch. I made mine a little bigger. Rather than gluing in carton, I used heavy pellon interfacing and cotton lining. I also sewed in some D rings and used braided material rather than the chain. Brilliant idea... thanks!

I had this project during my high school years. We made pillow cases and bags. Most of us used checkered fabric. No need to draw lines. It was elegant and your work too.:)

Looks nice, but - zip should be the same color - how to wash it with carton and glue? A stitched piece of PVC would be more practical)) The idea itself is awesome though))

The project had me ……till you used the hot glue gun……no,no,no……… If I make it definitely NOT USING HOT GLUE GUN! I will sew all parts of the bag. Love the final way it looks……..minus two chain pieces for loops!

This is a really old pattern.. from my childhood. My mom made teapot cover in 1988 and it was made out of pink silk fabric. there was a handmade silk peacock on one side of it. It was so pretty..
