Can you hear the difference between cheap and expensive pianos?
I started the video by playing in a cheap piano, and then in the more expensive ones. I played 6 different pianos. Can you hear any difference in sound? Which one has the best sound?

I can make a million dollar piano sound like a cheap plastic piano. It’s my talent.

oh i can surely hear the difference! Cheap: piano Expensive: p í å n ö
  • The less expensive piano reminded me of an upright piano used in old Western saloons back in the late 1800s.

That first piano looked beautiful, like it had stories to tell 😄 as someone who can only play a very tiny bit of piano I’d love one like that, but for wonderful pianists a more expensive piano would of course be amazing. Love the vault room of pianos too, how fancy they look! 🎹

Fun fact: the more money you spend on the piano the better it sounds because you improve the acoustics. The keys can echo more dynamically in your bank account because there is less money to absorb the sound.

The first one still kinda has a charm to it, idk it’s probably because I grew up using those kind of pianos a lot

Me watching this with on my iPhone without headphones and the tv playing in the background: 🧐 ahh yes, a subtle difference but quite notable to the trained ear

I think the most expensive piano, mechanically, is still the same as a normal Steinway Concert D. The high price is due to the custom artwork on the case. It may have some more exotic wood in the soundboard than normal which may boost the price, but if so, I was unaware that Steinway had special wood they used in premier/limited edition pianos.

Your choice of the symphony is perfect. I'd love to have that first piano.

Each successive one just kept getting better and better! And the last one had the most gorgeous rich, mellow sound. Amazing!

Los más caros , tienen un sonido más profundo y hermoso, pero con el talento que tiene usted ambos suenan fenomenales .
