  • Chess: he’s cheating or a genius Poker : She’s cheating or an idiot
  • The dumbest thing she did in all of this was give the money back. Biggest red flag out of everything. I would never give money back if i miss read my hand, neither would anyone else.
  • The worst she did was say she thought garret had ace high and still called with jack high suspect
  • “Most people are idiots. Sorry about that guys, but at least no1 thinks I’m talking about them” - pure gold from Doug here
  • This is a great example of a spot where you mix in cheating and not cheating
  • Great break down. Most of the time I'd say don't cry about it and take the beat but there is no way in hell she didn't cheat.
  • @ggsgaga
the biggest giveaway to me, for her cheating was when she gave the money back and asked him to just stay at the table and play more. she knew giving the money back and getting Garret to stay, that she would clean him out of more, he knew what was going on and got straight out of there. because all the excuses she presents for making that call show her to be dumber than she looks, and that call is straight out of a single-celled brain.
  • 6:00 "oh shit, this chair doesn't have a fuckin' seatbelt" I died and my corpse wrote this 🤣
  • Doug is like a sage of poker. He knows when to appear and when to disappear when poker stuff is happening.
  • The only plausible explanation that she’ll never say - “I’m still fairly new to the game. I think I’m pretty good but clearly sometimes I still get confused and make really shortsighted decisions. I felt strongly he was bluffing, and I was blinded by that because I wasn’t even taking into account that I didn’t beat 95% of his bluffs too. I started to realize that once the cards were flipped, and how truly lucky I was. I then started to get embarrassed at that point and got defensive trying to save face. Then once confronted about it off the table, that’s when it really set in just how bad that play truly was. I LOVE being on camera and started worrying that they wouldn’t want to have someone back who does such dumb things. Also, I started to realize that if this blew up and continued to get immortalized, my current and future backers likely won’t give me another cent unless I’m willing to do other things when I’m settling up. So my immediate reaction was if I just give Garrett his money back and sweep this under the rug, maybe we then just go back and pretend like nothing happened.”
  • Giving the money back is to avoid federal charges, if she’s ever found out. Caught people using weights in fishing contests and they were charged so she’s smart enough not to do the same.

One thing WPT needs to start is no sunglasses, no watches, no jewellery, earrings, hats, hair clips basically sterlize all the players it would help eliminate some of the doubt of devices being used
  • The vibrating chair thing seems like a huge stretch as anything that can shake with that much power is sheer overkill to notify a player of something.
  • @lengman2112
It comes across to me that she’s not fully aware of what’s going on, or at least isn’t quick enough or have enough experience in poker to understand in real time what’s happening.
  • @magicjack
I'm a card mechanic and magic creator. I know a lot about cards, especially the randomness of a shuffled deck. Unless you're a real psychic the only cards you're aware of are those in your hand and what's visible, if you play often with others you get used to their mannerisms, other than that it's pure luck. There are what's called 'thumpers' in the magic community that can be worn in a shoe or other discrete places and vibrates by remote control. She could have a code set up with someone who 'thumps' her information.
  • I’m surprised nobody is talking about her comment right after the hand: “I thought you had Ace-high…” and then she realizes that wouldn’t justify her call. It just looked like she was trying to rationalize her call in the moment because she wasn’t thinking about WHY she called, only THAT she called (because maybe someone told her to) and then suddenly she had to come up with a reason for doing so (and her first reason was a bad one). You would know what you were thinking when you make a call like that!
  • Dude if she’s using a Lovesense to cheat at poker that’s a whole new level
  • @Ralf986ms
"Most people are idiots" best line ever , i love you 😂
  • From the Los Angeles Times: A nearly three-month investigation into one of the most controversial hands of poker ever played has concluded with no findings of wrongdoing against Robbi Jade Lew, who was accused of cheating by one of the game’s most prominent stars. “That does not mean that no wrongdoing occurred,” said the report, released Wednesday by High Stakes Poker Productions. “It means that the investigation failed to find credible evidence.”
