I just love how the British version is so much quieter and so much more documentary style, I really like it more

"when its brown its cooked, when its black its.." "..fooked"

Imaging opening a restaurant with no experience and then hiring a head "chef" who couldn't make an omelet or croutons and then blame Gordon for your business going belly up
  • I think what I like most about Ramsay is that despite the fact that he's a celebrity and he's for sure super rich, he did have a legitimately working-class upbringing and I feel that part of him has never forgotten that. His banter with 'common folk' is exactly how normal people talk to each other because I don't think it's an act with him. Yes it's a TV show, but I feel Gordon is just behaving like his normal self and doesn't need a script because of it. It's why, out of all the celebrity chefs, he's the most popular, and also really popular with the youth. It's sincere.

"Tim has switched to a career in television" "Tim has given up on a career in television and is back working in a kitchen" Tim 😂😅

Watching this really shows how much of a good dad Gordon is

I've worked for Gordon outside of the food industry. He is a sweet, honest, and fair man. He was more fun to help than half the other rich assholes that come in. This episode really shows his generosity.

She left a 21 year old in charge of a restaurant and it failed? Shocking!

Imagine going to a restaurant and after getting served your food you see Gordon walk in

The owner Sue accused the production team of having Tim apply for the chefs job, so that they could later show him to be an incompetent Chef. She also accused them of faking the dirty kitchen scenes. The paper that published these accusations ended up paying Ramsey & the production team damages.

I’m utterly disgusted that with Gordon’s help she made 2K in one night and then says it’s Gordon’s fault?!?! What a joke!
  • The UK version of this show is so much more watchable than the US version. There isn't a cut every 5 seconds and you aren't absolutely bombarded with dramatic sound effects and musical stings
  • @Theocook1
What’s kinda funny is how this channel was built on clips from the US series but now they’re showing full episodes from the original series and everyone is realising how much better it is
  • @darthvader4370
youtube getting a little comfy with these double non skipable ads
  • Tim's dad when he burnt the croutons.... like "What have I done to deserve this absolute numb nuts as a son"
  • @artemartem1134
I really enjoyed the scenes of Gordon laid back on Tim’s parents couch chatting with them. He’s a millionaire and celebrity by all accounts and here he is chatting it up in someone’s living room. He doesn’t forget where he came from.

The head chef looks like Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter

Tim: takes baseball bat to the side of the head Half an hour later..... Gordon: ''Tim why is there blood pouring out of your head? Does it not hurt''? Tim: ''No''? Gordon: ''Feel it? Can you honestly not feel that your head is cracked open''? Tim: ''Now you've pointed it out.....yeah''.
  • @FaolanHart
I love how Gordon does this. He scolds them but also jokes around with them, To show he's not just an asshole; he's trying to help. Proper dad material.

Anyone else also LOVE this version better? Little music, all voice over by Ramsay no horror movie screeching and simple editing without fake reaction shots?
