I appreciate everything Gordon did for us. 15 years later and I know have my YouTube channel Momma Cherri and I'm loving it. Since the Pandemic I'm also cooking weekly meals for a local food bank. I'm in a happy place. I won't let this pandemic get iny way

She’s the first reasonable person I’ve seen on this show. She actually takes advice
  • @crixy..
Her accent is so unique.. you can hear the southerner (USA) coming out, the American accent in general and then there’s a slight British accent from living in Brighton. I don’t know why but it’s so amusing to me😂

Gordon doesn’t need to do all this this, I feel like he genuinely cares about people and their business in this industry. He has a harsh personality for a reason. He cares. He is an amazing person.

She is a real lady. She listens and takes advice well. Wish her the best.

If Gordon tells you that your food made him feel like he was back at home eating his mom's cooking, you can die happy and feeling successful.

Update: Momma Cherri’s Soul Food Shack is currently still open with 270 5 star reviews

"Fucking hell, those Ribs…" Sweats intensively "Were so tender" continues to breathe

This episode proves that Gordon isnt an asshole by default - if you're receptive and willing to learn and accept help, then he can work with you. He only starts yelling when people are hardheaded and can't accept any criticism or changes.

I don't think i've ever seen Gordan so upset, after coming back, that he was literally almost brought to tears. You can tell he REALLY wants this place to thrive and that he absolutely LOVES Cherri, Brian, and their Soul food.

One of the few episodes in these series where everyone was a fantastic bunch of people, no resistance to Gordon, no ingratitude or rudeness to him. Respect to them all and you can't help but be happy for them.

Momma Cherri's is one of the most impressive - they took criticism on the chin and just fought back and made it work. Amazing episode, it's just a reminder of how easy it is to lose sight of your goal if you don't actively self-assess yourself.

I appreciate Gordon giving them a reality check, especially after his good experience the first time. He isn’t one to sugar coat or hold his tongue for “loyalty.”

I feel so sorry for Bryan he is such a soft soul and tries his best. Broke my heart when he started crying as Gordon returned and told them they are doing shit :(
  • I think what makes Momma Cherri's such a good, heart-warming episode is that everyone involved actually wants help. With most Kitchen Nightmares episodes, especially in the US version, people just want their egos massaged, to be told that they're perfect and it's the customers who are wrong . . .
  • @YoMiggsTv
She’s the owner and yet she made or makes less than everyone there. And she had no complaints. She deserves way better!
  • "Why are you crying?" "Cause I'm not going to lose my business!" That hit me in the heart, especially for Kitchen Nightmares
  • @ckosturik
I love how Cherri can effortlessly move from kitchen to street hawker to front of the house. That's called charm.
  • @Gandorhar
Its kinda sad to see gordon be dissapointed in this way, not because they suck but because he actually expected alot better from them.
