The lyrics are from Scott to his wife...when she was ill in the hospital...then about their wedding...then finding out about her pregnancy. Mostly a reflection of his deep love for her and being blessed with the life they have together. It's pretty straight forward..and beautiful.

Pure and Natural RAW Talent. Scotts voice great, seths also great, but together, F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G Amazing!! Man do I love listening to these guys. Just moved from Raleigh NC and missing these guys, come to Memphis TN.....Please.

I love how he starts smiling soon after they start singing. He knows that it sounds so awesome!!! the bass, the lead and the beat.. so amazing live and on the spot!!!

I may have to check into St. Joseph's as I cannot stop watching this video! Truly awesome, TAB is great, of course, but lovely landscape...life is good!

this is going to be one of my favorite vids of these boys. thanks so much for posting this! they sound so good no matter where they play. can you imagine getting on one of those gondolas and the avett brothers are there to serenade you for the ride??? god, i would die a happy girl. these guys are the best singers/songwriters/performers/musicians this world has had the priviledge to listen too in a looooong time!
