Scott's voice carries through empty space better than any I think I have ever heard.

Their home looks beautiful. Perhaps I will own a farm like that someday, A place to raise my kids, a places to grow the love with my wife, a place to give over to my grandchildren. God willing, they will live simple lives without heartache or pain.

The setting is just as pretty as their song. I can't wait for a return to the west coast, it has been to long since October, especially with all the New Year buzz. The Avett Brothers are too amazing for words.

I play by ear and find myself lost and then found again while listening and learning the vibe of this type of music which seems too be somewhat "OBSCURE", these days however i feel @ "HOME", when my hands touch percussion instruments too this tune of a different kind .....

@Gillyfaraway I would never guess that good ol' southern folk music of America is heard across the world. Goes to show that music is Universal.

Just read the article connected to this in Southern Living. I can relate to Scott, living in an apartment above a shed on his parent's farm. So cool!

The banjo is one of the very few redeeming qualities. The others being BBQ, fall foliage, and the Avett Bros
